Bad news: I have no real self control and ended up carefully busting open my Superman.
Good news: You can barely notice it in the carded display. Btw, I hope someone makes a cast of that headsculpt. It'd probably work well on a Captain America/Daredevil body. Also btw, I should not that his hands are obviously separate pieces, but for some reason, they don't swivel. I'll have to ask about that.

Thread's looking a bit dead, so here's a pic of my 3 3/4 inch DC collection!
Batman Beyond is a bit obscured, but otherwise, the only one not here is the Funko Superman. Mockingbird is also filling in as Black Canary until I can get some parts to use her for a Firestar custom.

That actually isn't a bad sculpt...Too bad it wasn't a bit more articulated.

While the Young Justice HoJ is probably the best looking option, it's also the most expensive I think. You can get even get a Super Powers HoJ cheaper. You should also check the Jack In the Box figures. They had a ton of decent DC figs that could scale with 4 or 5 inch figs depending on the character. |

Really? Considering all of those 2-packs were clearanced for like $3 at one point, around here, I find that surprising.

I use the Imaginext Legion of Doom in the back of my DCUC display. Yes it's a little cartoony but since the actual LoD is elevated it's still visible over the 6" figs and looks pretty good. Planning on doing the same with a Hall of Justice when I find one for a good price.

The stealth variants with the pieces are probably what drives the price up.

Not sure where to put these but since Funko has a lot of DC figures in this format I'll put them here for now.
They really upped their game on the Twin Peaks figures. Each one has ball/swivel style shoulders and elbows. |

Can you take the corpse girl(sorry, never seen Twin Peaks)out of the plastic body bag? 'Cause put a dress on here and stick her in some kinda glass tube with an LED, and you've got a good Nora Fries.

How big are Boss Fight figures? I've always assumed taller than 3.75, but not quite 4 inches.

Looks like no articulation. Too bad, I was thinking Aquagirl or Namorita.

Love this topic. This size really hits home for me due to Kenner's stuff with Super Powers and Star Wars. I bought all the ones I could find in the last few years from TDK to the Multiverse. I wish they would have continued them. I'm really looking forward to the Batman '66 line.
I have never once seen a Multiverse BR Catwoman in person. Were those really rare or were folks just snatching them up? I've got the Keaton Batman and Reeves Supes, even got the '66 costume Arkham Bats, but have yet to ever even hold a Pfieffer Catwoman. |

I believe Catwoman was part of the second wave, by which time the line was being sidelined so she didn't ship high and was therefore more rare.
