I was not happy with my first cast. The resin is supposed to set up in 3 minutes, but when I demolded it after 5 it was still a little soft. I think the resin mix is just old, so I went back to Hobby Lobby and got some more, and found this cake stand while I was there.

Might make for a good Gorilla Grodd if painted properly.

Gonna have to replace that arm in the future, but hey, it looks pretty cool now, right?

Batman 66 (Wave 2) action figures will likely debut at Toyfair. Funko spoke of "major" villains. They spread "major" characters into future waves, so as to sell obscure characters in present waves. This extends the toyline for many years to come.
Funko had a challenging time locating another version of Robin. I suggested to them, the "new" comic inspired by the old tv show. The Legion of Super Heroes crossover had 1 fun page, holding many versions of Robin 3066. Yes the year 3066. If Funko tapped this fun new comic, they can unleash flood gates, and sell so much more figures, Last edited by Super Joe; 01-06-2018 at 07:05 AM.. |

Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Costco can carry an exclusive 3.75" figure in a gift-box edition of the Batman 66 Omnibus book. It can be a repaint or chase variant. Because they only meet Batman 66 in these comics, it makes sense for the exclusive figure to be a member of the Legion of Super Heroes.

Looks like you found a cool way for Funko to bring us a carded Robin! Can anyone post a pic of the female impersonator? To preserve the value of the first Robin (with the Batmobile), maybe a standard carded new Robin head can have a facial expression (in addition to the new head of his mysterious female impersonator).

Just finished this Batman using a Marvel Universe Black Panther as the base figure, Tho i'm not completely satisfied with the end result and i'll probably revisit him later, i'll just move on and start working on my second DC 3.75 custom wich is gonna be Deadman.

They are not worthy to be near my collection. 1. They are not figures, they are figurines because they are not ARTICULATED. 2. I would have only 1 use for any of these that I can see, salvage the wings of the Hawks for custom fodder.

Hmm. Articulation looks nice, but I wonder how durable it'll be?

Funko announced these "HeroWorld" things that are 4".
https://www.funko.com/blog/article/3...cing-heroworld They're cartoony and static, but they might be worth some head harvesting if they're not too pricey. Wouldn't be in this topic if they weren't.

Well, it's Hiya. They do massively good quality work, it just takes forever and a day for their stuff to release.
