Hey guys, was wondering if DC Collectibles solicits ideas for characters to make from fans. Do they ever have any polls to figure out what character fans want in a wave/line? And, if they do, do I need social media to participate?

DCC doesn't even have social media accounts themselves and I've never seen them do a single poll. They just simply don't give a damn about what fans desire. They don't even care about customer service, especially if you have a figure that breaks out of the package.

They did a 'Fan Poll' once to vote on releasing a previously solicited "unproduced" item (statues/busts/3.75 figures/Rainbow batman) and I "Think" Rainbow batman set somehow won... It was run thru DCComics.com I would say that anything about contacting DCCollectibles publicly is done towards the DC twitter account (join twitter and search DC comics)or just post @DCcomics and it directs at them (but chances are if you DO get a reply it would be a stock- "Thanks for being a fan, we have a team that works on getting you the latest and greatest DC Collectibles that fans want!" sort of message... but you never know until you try)

That’s not true at all. I received a free statue and Action figure from them. Because mine was broken a single lighting bolt on the head(Ear bolt whateva the hell its called) of my TV flash statue. They sent me a free one without charge Maybe that’s your personal experience with them but to say overall that’s not true. They’ve also got Social media accounts. Facebook(if that counts) haha. The Fan desire thing I agree with it a degree. I want less Batman and Superman figs from them and different characters selections

I’ve got the Mezco one12. And yea I was the same way. It looked Iffy to me until I had it in person and I absolutely love it now. Sometimes the figure looks way better in hand.

What's their Twitter account? Last time I looked the only DCCollectibles tag coming up was for an unofficial fan page.

I think Etrigan would be interesting. I never really paid too much mind to this line, but I've recently added 3 to my collection: modern WW, Supergirl, and Superwoman. They're all pretty impressive, but something about them gives me the impression they'll break and that I should take more care when storing and manipulating them.

I picked up the DC Multiverse John Stewart and really like the ring effect. It is a solid figure.

Was actually considering that one for a bit, but I'm really a fan of the DCAU style. Wish I could find a pack of nondescript constructs, though. Not sure the ones from the Hal Jordan Icons deluxe figure would fit.
