BBTS and Ent Earth, along with some other retailers - generally get select Diamond Distributors based figures later than comic shops. They'll get several late, and then randomly some early. It's hard to wrap your head around logic wise, and frustrating when you know they are probably sitting at a local comic shop.
Like now, I have Beetle, Adam, Lex, and Hal on order with BBTS. Must resist going to the mall

That and TDK ends with Bruce going to continue being Batman while being hunted by the cops to continue protecting the city, but then we learn that Batman never returned after that night 8 years prior. He was Batman for 9 freaking months and already retired?! WTF?! Oh, and has massive bone damage as if he had been doing it for years.
The franchise could have gone in many great directions, even without Heath. |

i did the math..buying 4 figs at 25.00 in a LCS vs getting them from BBTS... i save $19.95..which is significant to me..that's almost another figure... so i just ordered the original 4 from BBTS..and i'll get Green Lantern from them as well because my LCS has it for 29.00(pls tax)..NOPE I like them all except for the Luthor..he does nothing for me..and i'm not buying just to complete the set..maybe another sculpt of him will be down the road..

What all was shown at SDCC? Just Joker, Firestorm and J. Stewart Green Lantern. Any other figures announced?
I wonder if that Joker's hat come off. |

I'm not sure if it will looking at the convention pictures. If it doesn't then they should include an alternate head but if it does remove then the hair underneath might look bad because the hat looks really snug.

I got the notice that Black Adam was in stock, filling my pre-order at BBTS in surprise (It had said January!), so that happened.
I don't have anything else on Pre-order from BBTS until March, so I went ahead and gave the ship my POL order. |

So looking at my other DC figures there are actually a few that would work well with the Icons line despite the size differences. As I already showed in my pictures, Killer Croc and Barda work great with Batman and Miracle, but there are a few others. Unless I'm mistaken, the Manhunters and Atrocitus will go perfect with the Icons Hal. Same goes for the old DCD Mad Hatter that was in the Long Halloween line and "The Batman's" Scarface and Wesker figure. Not to mention the big dudes like Kilowog, Metallo, Atom Smasher, Giganta, Colossal Boy, and Chemo work just fine.

Yeah, they over painted Lex's hand joints, so you need to heat his hands up before moving their joints.

Shit man, that sucks. They have gotten better overall but I guess there is still some QC work to do. Paint on pegs seems to be an issue for a lot of their problems.

Look who showed up today:
Prepare for a ton of pictures, but first, my thoughts. Flash - Awesome, just awesome. This is hands down the best Flash figure to date. I mean, I thought Mattel's DCU Flash was the best, but DC just blew it out of the water. The running hands add so much to his posing and, while fragile, the cosmic treadmill is a great display piece. The only downside is you can't really display Flash on the treadmill with his legs posed as if he is running at full speed. Oh, but I do want to give a word of warning. BE CAREFUL WITH THE HANDS!! I think I know why there is breakage being reported. Unlike the figures from Wave 1 and GL, Flash's hands are very tight. As such, you have to switch them out slowly and gently, otherwise they might break. I'm not sure if it is because the hole is smaller or if the nudge on the tip of the peg is thicker, but definitely be cautious when you swap them. Green Lantern - This guy is also awesome, and if it weren't for the details on his shoulders, I would have never known this was a N52 Hal. The paint job is spectacular (well, mostly as the logo is just a tad off) and the articulation is great. I have mixed feelings on his construct space suit, especially since the top wing piece cracked while I was putting on the big wings, but for $25, it was a steal. The fist construct is badass and I do love the details in his battery. Unlike Flash, the hand pegs slide in easily, albeit, a little too easily. Also, I don't have any issue with the gloves coming off with ease as other reviewers have had. All right, with that said, here are the pictures (sorry, some of them came out blurry even with me doing like 10 shots of them):

I'm sure a Wally version will be on the way a lot sooner than Mattel took to do him. For some reason, Barry's box says he is from Chain Lightning even though this is clearly a Pre-Crisis Barry. Someone suggested that someone at DC probably screwed up and put the wrong title on the box.
I've gotta say, these Icons are turning out A LOT better than I was anticipating. The quality and accessories I'm getting is what I thought I was going to be getting when Bandai initially announced DC Figuarts. I just realized something though, I don't have any villains. One of my friends altered my picture a bit

So my comic shop was having a 40% off all toys today and 50% off graphic novels. As such, I picked these up:
Here is what I think of each figure: Lex - Just like Hal, he isn't my favorite version, but hot damn DC did a phenomenal job on him. He is hands down the best Lex figure ever released. I do like the slimmer armor as it is a lot more posseable and looks a lot nicer than that bulky crap Lex has had in the past. I didn't have any issue with his wrist joints at all so no worries of breakage from me, but then, I also made sure to move them when they weren't inserted into his arms. The headsculpt is also damn impressive too. For $18, he was well worth the price and it is nice to finally have a villain in my Icons collection. Unfortunately, his blade arm attachment is supposed to clip on, but it doesn't do so very well. Deadman - There is a lot I love about him, but there are areas where I feel Mattel's toy was better. Most of it deals with the head sculpt. DC has done a phenomenal sculpt, but I do like how the Mattel one had his mouth open. That aside, I definitely feel he is far more proportionate than the Mattel one and surprisingly, he is more agile. On the other hand, I do like the translucent plastic Mattel used. Nevertheless, once again he was well worth the price and I'm glad to have added him to my collection. Blue Beetle - Wow, this figure is absolutely amazing. He may be my second favorite Icons figure released thus far. He has such much detailing, especially on the scarab. The only negatives I give him are due to the head being pretty much immobile and the lack of having open hands. Thankfully, that more than made up for with a fantastic set of artillery he came with to switch out with his hands.

I don't really care for that Lex. I'm hoping for another down the road. I picked up Batman, GA and GL so far. Still torn on the others. Nice pics and review Kain. Thanks.

Funny enough, this is the first time I have been actually impressed with a Lex toy. I thought all of the ones Mattel did were subpar.
