And yeah I didn't have many icons so now I've got to go back and buy the ones ive missed that are the same scale. For some reason these in the 7 pack are taller then the first wave of icons

Ain't that the damn truth man. Dc Collectibles is one Stupid fuck they have fairly good ideas but never go through with them or just completely screw the up. Just this year alone the fucked up the Icons Animated series, and Dc Films lines. They better have some badass shit at Sdcc

They rescaled back in wave 3. So while the 7 pack is taller than the first wave, but for the most part they fit in nicely with the rest of the line. You correct when you mentioned they messed up Wonder Woman's scale. Not sure what the hell happened there especially with the New 52 WW coming out the next month being much better scaled.

Actually they messed up Supermans scale, he needs to a bit taller. WWs height is fine, she is supposed to be as tall as Batman.

Actually, she is an inch shorter. WW should be 6'1", Batman is 6'2", and Superman is 6'3".

Really? I have the updated DC Encyclopedia that includes Rebirth and it says she's 6'0 165. Side note, flash was beefed up. In the previous Encyclopedia he was 5'11 175, he is now 6'0 195.

So now a changed timeline causes you to grow taller?

Well, New 52 also changed her from being sculpted from clay to being born normally so it's not like it is the most significant change she went through. Fittingly, my DC Icons Wonder Woman FINALLY shipped today.

Cool (pun intended) but technically not an Icons figure, that Freeze was part of the Capullo Designer series.

Actually no they missed up Wonder woman's height. She is ridiculously over sized she is a full head taller then Flash,Aquaman,Green Lantern, and Cyborg that just doesn't look right. I've even seen in the reviews of the set that they say she is oversized. She is a nice figure by her self but put with the rest of the Set she is Terrible and doesn't look right

I've been really interested in this line, but recently it seems to have a real shaky foundation. Gonna give them SDCC. Hopefully, they'll have a nice spread and can straighten out all of the kinks.

In the first issue of the current Wonder Woman run during Rebirth, a photo is shown of her next to one of those height measuring walls, and she's shown at 6'2".

I honestly wouldn't expect much of anything at SDCC. If anything, they will announce a relaunch of the line at Toy Fair next year under a new name, with a new scale, higher price tag, less accessories, but same concept.

Yeah like I said, I'm gonna wait til SDCC before jumping in. Hopefully, by then they'll either have the line properly mapped out or they'll just tell us it's over.

I'm kinda over the Icons line now. I actually miss the figures they were doing before. The 7 inch scale worked better with the majority of my collection and they came out more frequently too. I think the high point for DC Direct/DC Collectibles was the Crime Syndicate figures from Forever Evil. They had solid scuplts, more modern articulation and the paint apps were decent. Plus those figures blend in really well with my DCUC collection.
