Hey I picked up an extra set you can have at cost+shipping. Umm one thing though... I hope you're not a mint in box collector. The box looks like the tape was cut and then re-taped. Both the sets I picked up look like this. I promise I didn't open it.

Got the dc direct two pack today and man these little.guys aee badass! Alot more solid than any.marvel universe figure ive messed with. They feel dense and good. Only qc on mine is a stuck thigh swivel on kilowog and a loose hip joint on kyle. Kyles is easy to fix. Also their articulation is stellar! Points are: Head- balljoint Shoulder-universal hinge Bicep-swivel Elbow-single hinge Forearm-swivel Torso-balljoit Ab crunch Hips-balljoint Thigh-swivel Knees-double hinge Shin-swivel Feet-hinge My favorite point is the thigh swivel which is brilliantly hidden with sculpting on the upper legs. Honsetly didnt.expect this.joint till I twisted Wogs leg. So badass a set and well worth the pickup. So heres some pic of the set! Heres everything you get Kyle shots Kilowog shots Size comparisons: Star wars VC Marvel Universe They scale much better to Star wars toys than marvel ones which is a bit of shame. Fun pics Overall still really good figures! The scale with Marvel might detract some, but not this guy! Also after having Scarlet Spidey in the shoot and messing with both. The GL figs just feel more solid where as spidey just feels like he made of rubber. The quality is vastly different. |

I would take that deal if he doesn't want it. You can even keep the box! I'd just want the figs and accessories.

unfortunately from ebay for $54 shipped
We didn't want to bid because who knows how expensive that could get. We wanted to wait to see if anything cheaper came along but then the cheapest one we saw for $49 got sold so we said screw it and bought the $54 one. We would have bought from Soupy but we didn't know how fast he would reply to our PM or if he even had the extra set still. But for the next set WE WILL NOT PAY MORE THEN $35...........hopefully We're sure we'll be kicking ourselves in the ass if DC Collectibles decides to sell this same set at retail for the price people at the con paid. I wonder if they sold them all by the end of Con. I heard they were letting anyone buy them on Sunday, going to my theory that they just wanted to create buzz. I bet they missed on a bunch of sales from people who just stumbled upon them.
Anyway, I appreciate this set and hope to at least get everything that was shown. Although, where are the Sinestro Corps in all this?

Man. I'd love to get my hands on these, but I'm not spending anywhere near those insane ebay prices for 2 (admittedly AWESOME) 3.75" figures. I guess I'll just have to wait and see, like many others, if they ever hit retail or at least show up on DCC's site.
And hopefully a similar Batman/Robin set is eventually made. |

The hidden thigh swivel reminds me of thigh swivels used in the Hasbro 5.5" Spiderman 3 line.
