They look great! Kinda sucks, IMO, that only lanterns are planned as of now.
And concerning the whole Mattel thing, it's seems that DC Direct has put some serious work into these figures. These figures have obviously been in development for at least a couple years. It's completely possible that they intentionally did not allow Mattel to do highly articulated figures in this scale to avoid direct competition. It's funny how DC Direct's larger line has very limited articulation but their smaller line is loaded with it |

Yeah, there is NO WAY this pack is not going to be one of the hottest items at SDCC this year. They'll have no problem selling out.

I also wanted to say AFI also says that the first sets will be GL but after that they are moving to another section of DC.

I think these look baller, dont get me wrong, but I wont buy these at highly inflated prices right off the bat...
I mean if they come out with a series down the line, I might have to go back and pay a little more for the green lanterns...but I i will wait on these until we know what is going on for sure...

I am hearing these are a pain in the ass to get when you are at the con. Anyone confirm?
As amazing as they are, making these available at cons is making it hard to want to collect these, even if they are beautiful..

I agree. I want excellence in my 3.75" lines and these look really cool but when DC Direct makes a line they usually abandon said line before it's finished. I'm looking forward to having a chance to buy these but I'll have some trepidation about it.
