No problems whatsoever. Actually not afraid to move him like other dc collectibles figures. I don’t have the feeling that he’s gonna break. The only problem I have with him is his ankle articulation. It’s hard at least for me to get him to stand. If you handle the figure you’ll know what I’m talking about.
They’re probably the weirdest and one of the worst ankles I’ve had Incase a fig. It’s like they’re fixed in certain points. They’re not loose or super tight so I thought yeah he’s gonna be fine but nope I was wrong lol Last edited by Tim; 08-11-2018 at 10:35 AM.. |

so wait...
i said did you have any issues posing or standing. you said NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER then you say the only problem is with the ankle articulation..and it's hard to get him to stand... Tim...were you smoking this morning??..haha.. that's EXACTLY what i was talking about and the bad part is they all pretty much use the same mold base so ALL of the current figures ankles are like that....which Is why I'm probably not purchasing anymore of them.

The ankles on the other hand are shit honestly. Probably the worst in a figure I’ve purchased in a very long time. I don’t know why they’d go with that articulation. What’s wrong with the “normal” joints they always gotta fuck something up hahaha but same I’m probably not picking up anymore other then flash to go with RF. Other than that I’ll just wait to not find those new Multiverse announced at Sdcc |

Mine are standing just fine. Granted, I took them out of the package and stood them on the shelf without posing them a whole lot. Just got the limbs and head lined up straight and…done.

Really? Awesome. I guess you might be the lucky one. The ankles don’t want to sit straight where I can even have a chance to stand him. Either he’s leaning too far forward to stand or too far back. The ankles won’t stay in the middle haha.

The ankles on my Flash were did that too. I turned the ball around and then turned the foot around at the ankle pivot so that the foot was facing the correct direction. He can now stand straight.

Got my Batman in the mail today. Looks great...big imposing figure. Nice sculpt. The sheer simplicity is refreshing. This is Batman. However...joints are wonky. Thigh cuts were super stiff...and knee was pointed sideways in the box. Had to heat to loosen the thigh...and that made the leg ball joint at the hip a bit on the loose side. Ankles and wrist joints seem very fragile and can't seem to "stay". Took me forever to stand him up, and even then his feet aren't flat on the ground. Will still get my Trinity from this line, because it's what I do and I love the look, but a bit disappointed in the quality of the joints.

Picked up the Doomsday Clock Dr manhattan two pack today at my comic shop. They were having a 30% sale for Labor Day. So the price wasn’t terrible

If anyone has been thinking of jumping into the line or has been holding off on Batman, a 3P seller on Amazon has Batman for $16.66! He's back ordered but that is a great price. I grabbed an extra cause I'd like to try a custom.

If/when the Ozymandias and Manhattan goes on sale I'll probably get it just for the Manhattan, something seems off with Adrian. Something about his face...

You guys must have seen a different trailer than I did. The Aquaman trailer I saw looked to be just more of the same. Grim dark angst for the sake of it, dumb dialog, a hobo that looks like Aquaman, and a story we've seen 100 times.

I'm about 90% on-board with Aquaman. Some of the trailer looks bad (ending with the jumping from the plane bit after all the epic underwater battles seemed sort of out of place) but I thought Mamoa did a great job in JL and I'm excited to see more of his take on the character... this will certainly be a day 1 viewing for me!

Second attempt at customizing Batman. I let the collar piece come down over his shoulders which fixed the long neck problem that I had with my first custom (see the pics above). I also made the cape a little shorter.
Now that I've finished this Batman, I'd like to try make a second attempt at a 70s/Bronze Age Batman. I've also been thinking about making this Batman: Jason Fabok designed this costume for the Three Jokers story. I love the costume's 89/Returns influence. With Fabok doing the art for the story, part of me is hoping they just make a figure of this design. |
