I'd say there's a good chance we'll see Poison Ivy in the Essentials line. After all, she'll be in the Harley Quinn series on DC Universe.

I don't see why the Harley Quinn show would have any bearing on it but Poison Ivy is a popular character so I could see her getting a figure if the line persists. Plus McFarlane will be starting up their DC run next year so there's more opportunity ahead.

Luckily my red hood has zero issues. The only essential I have trouble with Ankle and standing wise is Aquaman(loose ankles and loose joints) I’ve been extremely lucky so far *Knocks on wood* haha |

Just the ankle joints made him somewhat unstable to stand in certain poses (according to BradtheDCGeek Catwoman uses different ankle joints to the male DC figures)

Same man, I just picked up Catwoman as well she’s fantastic my favorite Suit for Selena. I’m debating on which to get the Batman or Hal Jordan next haha.

Oh don't worry, you'll get Bane! Now, would you like him on the generic female body, the generic male body, or the Joker suit body?

I doubt that'll ever happen because Bane's goons are definitely not popular and their presence would cause the set to drag.
That is exactly my concern about an Essentials Bane, that they would just give him the same body as everyone else and we'd have this weird lanky Bane. As it stands I feel like McFarlane is my better shot at getting a new comic Bane.

True but they did recently reappear in Tom King's Batman run which as a Knightfall fan I found really cool (heck they could have been a DCUC exclusive set for SDCC or Matty Collector thinking about it!)

If I had more faith in the Essetials line, and he had accessories, I would so buy that Knightfall Batman.

I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up but after "I am Bane" they kind of disappeared and Bane just worked with his cabal, I guess they were arrested and he saw no need to free them. Back in the MattyClub days they would have been much more likely as an exclusive set, although probably overpriced and you'd have to deal with MattyClub.

Nice, its definitely a classic look for her (my personal fave is the gray design from BTAS) and its great to get some Knightfall-era figs (one of my all time fave Bat-stories) Last edited by Tim; 02-02-2020 at 03:26 PM.. |

I received the newest wave from BBTS today and already changed the cape for Batman. I'm probably going to shorten the cape just a little and add a couple of pleats in the back so it drapes a little better but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

How do you cut around the neck piece so cleanly??

It's a combination of cutting it with the right blade, sanding the major parts with a dremel, and finishing it with two different sand paper grits.
For the cutting, I use an Xacto #5 Heavy Duty Plastic Handle knife with an Xacto #10 General Purpose Blade. #5 Heavy Duty Plastic Handle Knife #10 General Purpose Blade I'll use a dremel with a sanding wheel to round over the edges and removed any left over sculpted cape folds on the back of the neck piece. I also use ~80 grit sand paper that you can get from any hardware store as well as ~400 grit sand paper that I purchased from Advanced Auto in their paint section. The 80 grit will help mold the neck piece into the shape I want and the 400 grit will smooth out the rough looking plastic. Fortunately, DC Collectibles molded this cape in blue plastic instead of the typical white plastic so painting shouldn't be necessary. |

Have the newest Batman & Green Lantern figures been delayed at all? I can find loads of Catwoman's & Sinestro's in stock but neither of those two?
