MAFEX just kicked Figuarts' but in this line. I hope that new WW headscan is used on the WW Mafex from her standalone film.

So, MAFEX now has three versions of WW (BvS, WW, and JL). Looks like the JL version will have a more rotatable head based on the hair sculpt.

Hopefully these will be in scale better. I had to pass on Deadshot because he's basically a 7 inch. But cyborg and Aquaman will be big grabs for me. Maybe the flash if he doesn't tower over Batman.

Now I wonder which figure that batman breathing mask (last picture)will be packed with. My thoughts is a reissue. Don't get me wrong I like the mafex line. They look great!! I just hope they look this good when they come out aaaaaaand not break.

I really just cant like that flash. It looks off in so many ways. Its like they just modified that weird crystaline armor look of the play arts kai one. The tv show has the movie look beat hands down.

...it comes with the Harley Quinn's dress version, as well as two additional heads for the first Harley Quinn

Do not fear, dear Collectors, the Mafex Figures will not break.
I got Batman, Armored Batman and Knightmare Batman. All of them are awesome with very strong Joints. It is even possible to use the entire UNMASKED HEAD from Knightmare Batman and put this Unmasked Batfleck Face on Armored Batman, and Normal Batman. You can even switch the entire Neck + Unmasked Head onto the other Figures. What i did was: Use Knightmare Batman with Googles Use Normal Batman with Unmasked Bruce Wayne Head And put the Normal Masked Batman Head on the Armored Version (Armored Batman Body is cool, but i do not like the Armored Head Sculpt) |

So far these are the only guys who have a Cyborg coming, so they may have my interest. But if Figuarts decides to go for it or Mezco, I will be out.

Yep, yep, yep and yep!
I was hoping Mafex would bring their A-game and these look top notch. It's nice that figuarts is getting in there too but the scale of their figures is just too small. I may cancel my SHF JL Batman pre-order now and just stick to their Star Wars and Marvel characters. For my DC movie-verse collection it's all gonna be Mezco and Mafex but Mafex looks like they're winning atm which is great news for my wallet. This Aquaman actually has me impressed whereas Mezco's looked too stiff and blocky. Of course Mafex prototypes always look miles better than the finished products, especially the faces so I may have to be tactical here and not jump the gun too soon. For now, only time will tell. |

I'm going to wait on reviews. I have Batman, Armored Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman from the BvS line and only the Batmen are actually great. Superman's head is prone to falling off when posing and Wonder Woman's joints are all loose and she ended up with blue paint on her upper thighs, not to mention a mispainted eyebrow so she always looks like she's doing the Spock eyebrow thing.
Still better than Mattel though. |

I am hoping for a new Supes that corrects the floppy legs and gives a better cape. I like the head sculpt but can always improve

Agreed. The right arm of my WW was a bit loose and it's kinda weird her eyebrows had the same paint color as her tiara. Nevertheless, I wanted a budget-friendly WW figure with a face sculpt that's close to Gal's. I was close to buying the Mattel one until MAFEX showed up.

Now that I think about it, I'm surprised (and a bit sad) that Bane and the new Ledger Joker were not displayed there.
