Wow, those Total Heroes figures are definitely...uh...um...
...toys. I can't think of anything else to say, other than the Multiverse figures might be more to my liking. But I'm not a big fan of the Arkham designs, so I'll need to wait and see what else comes out for it.

Wow, both of those lines look even worse now. Total Garbage and Multicrap.

I'll probably get some of those Arkham figures. The next wave is supposed to be movie stuff including Keaton.

Yeah, 6 inch switched to kiddie versions, cheaper. 4 Inch went collector based with 14 points of articulation, etc. Same time, DC Collectibles slowed down on 4 inch, and put articulation into their 6 inch figures. So if you want detail/articulation, I think goal for now anyway is DCC for 6 inch, Mattel for 4 inch. I think the Mattel 4 inch look ok, but not interested in the game versions. They teased Movie Keaton Batman at SDCC, I'll reserve judgement till that wave hits.

I'm definitely in the minority on this as far as collectors go, but I actually like the look of the Total Heroes figures. That said, the only one I'm getting is the Batman Beyond figure that, from what I've heard/read, won the "fan's choice" poll at SDCC. Black Manta is also kind of tempting, but I don't want to have to deal with MattyCollector.com to get him.
The "Multiverse" figures don't look too bad. Hopefully this proves to be a multiverse line that can last a couple of years. Would suck if it died after one year of Batman and Superman related figures. That said, none of this first wave interests me nearly enough to buy. Though I am curious to see who all they do for the second wave, which is supposedly all movie based. Makes me wonder what theme they've got planned for the third wave.

I do not get why people complain about dealing with Mattycollector I have never had an issue. Personally I would rather deal with them then deal with a Retail outlet any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
This line will be cancelled by Summer 2015

Hot damn. I'm gettin' all o' them Multiverse figures.
I actually really like this. Getting a standard Bats and the Wii U version is a good thing in my book.

You really are oblivious, aren't you? Just because it hasn't happened to you yet does not mean there are massive issues. They are retarded when it comes to address change and credit card expirations. They don't know how to NOT send a package to the old address three months in a row and they don't understand the concept of credit cards expiring in the middle of the year.

Eh. From the moment this Total Heroes line was announced I knew I was only going to buy two of them: Batman Beyond because, well, they keep cancelling the damn DCUC re-release... and Blue Beetle because, hell, I figure he might fit in with the Young Justice figures.
This was, of course, before I realized that Blue Beetle was a part of the Fan's Choice poll and lost, presumably meaning it won't be released. I'm not complaining - I'm more than happy to only have to buy ONE of these things. |

At least it's one that pre-exists and not one that was made up on the spot.

Which one? While I would like to be optimistic about both, I'm honestly not expecting either one to last a full year. Mattel appears to be gung-ho about every project they start, but they never follow threw. Trying to not sound overly dramatic about this, I'm tired of being blue balled when it comes to DC product at retail.
While I'm looking forward to it, I also have a bad feeling it'll either be scrapped or made an online exclusive thing. Quote:

Think of it this way, there are still four non-Batman figures in the wave. I think that fact alone is something we should all be gracious for. Could be five Batman figures with one short-packed side-character. Also, as others have pointed out, it's also a figure that make sense, rather than being a random Batman based on nothing in particular.

While I can see your frustration, especially since there's 99,000 Dark Knight Rises Batmen still on shelves of every single store, it's still a fair amount more generous of a wave than Mattel's put out in the past. Oh well, I'll just get mine. Don't need to convince anyone else to get one ^_^

I'm probably not even going to bother with the regular Batman. The armored one looks 10x better.

After Infinite Heroes finished I still wanted figures of Penguin, Riddler, Mr Freeze, Bane, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn.
I'll happily take this Mr Freeze, looks pretty good to me. Hopefully those prototypes we saw a couple of years back of 3.75" Ivy/Harley will make an appearance in this line.

Well I guess I am the only one who finds that buying from a Retail outlet as an issue. Inability to get what I want driving around to 9 or 10 stores and getting nothing. If I cannot buy online or direct from Mattel I will not be buying

thats not what I'm talking about here. I am not getting either of these line I am not a huge Batman Universe fan and the 6 inch should be called Total Garbage.
I expect the Total Garbage line to be gone by Summer 2015 and for that Batman thing likely to be a 1 and Done. What I find interesting is people who wouldn't buy into the Club line who are complaining about Total Heroes line. You can't have it both ways you wanted a Retail Line and you got it accept what you getting but it's your own fault your not getting what you want. By the way there is no perfect way to get anything as far as I am concearned the stores around do not sell action figures becuase they wont put them out

Hating the Total Crap line and not supporting Matty Collector are not the same thing. Total Crap was made to appeal to kids, NOT collectors.
