Booya! Got mah TH Batman Beyond ordered. Pretty excited. I like how this one is closer to the animated style of the show than the DCUC BB. It also has a lot of the same detailing that the Beyond suit has in the Futures End comic, so while it isn't totally accurate to the show, the re-used body doesn't bug me.
As stupid as it sounds, the Micron figurine sealed the deal. Justice League Beyond 2.0 is my favorite team book, so being able to get even one more of those characters is great. The alternate heads and other extras are just a bonus. |

I've got to wait until I get paid on Friday before I can buy anything from today's sale. I'm definitely going to get Batman Beyond, but I'm not sure about Superman or Lurch.

Yeah, nothing else caught my eye. Very briefly considered Superboy, but it would solely be to do a headswap with Young Justice Connor and... well, it's not worth it. Artemis and Red Arrow aside, those YJ toys were awful and they're currently scattered around the house because I can't be bothered to find a place to display them together.

I simply refuse to help Mattel keep the Total Heroes stuff going so I refused to buy Batman Beyond. Personally I never had much interest in that character anyway.

Ah, I forgot about YJ Batman... even though I own him. I actually prefer the bases over the toys themselves, at least in the cases of Batman, Robin and Red Arrow. |

The entire concept and execution of Batman Beyond was amazing and Terry is one of my favorite DC characters of all time.

I'm slightly disappointed that the Total Heroes BB has the proper "middle-aged" Bruce alternate head as opposed to the elderly one it was originally displayed with. I was all jazzed up to make an "Old Man Bruce" custom to pose next to Terry, although it isn't too upsetting. |

How can you not be a Batman fan? He is the best comic character of all time because he doesn't have super powers but he goes out of his way to help anyone and everyone.

The middle-aged one makes more sense, obviously, since that's how Bruce looked in the first episode of the series when he wore the Beyond suit. But I still wish they maybe would have ditched a couple of those extra batarangs and included that headsculpt too. Last edited by Poison Shadow; 09-16-2014 at 03:24 PM.. |

Lantern has been over done too. The only things that haven't been over done are Green Arrow, Legion of Super Heroes, All Star Western, and the super natural characters like Constantine, Swamp Thing, Dr Fate, Spectre, etc. After all, where are Anton Arkane, Klarion, Wotan, Morgan Le Fay, Mordrid, Bat Lash, El Diablo, Turnbull, El Papagayo, Tellulah Black, Merlyn, Vertigo, the Fatal Five (other than Validus), etc.

The may have done a lot lantern stuff but there are still some big holes there and the Lantern books sell as well as anything outside of Batman.

Well for being opened $30 and $30 shipping is a bit much if you ask me I could see paying that much if it was MISB considering the Black Varient MISB is on Amazon for $79 and the Purple is $39 MISB. I'd say keep looking Amazon.com: Buying Choices: DC Universe Classics Series 9 Action Figure Wildcat Black Build Chemo Piece! (black) and http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...I24XWK48US0M8E (Purple)

As for under representation we didn't get enough characters from the following. Green Arrow, Shazam!, Flash, Superman, Justice League, Watchmen, Aquaman, Wild West. I bet the top 5 characters I wanted would have been pretty agreeable to all of us. Merlyn, Vixen, Lady Shiva, Dr. Light I, Wildcat II

I'd go so far as to say that Terry is probably my favorite Batman. As a kid I thought the show was awesome, it was like if Spider-Man put on a batsuit. The current comic (Batman Beyond Universe in print form, Batman Beyond 2.0 in digital) is freakin' great. They seem to be catching up to the Epilogue episode of JLU, 'cause it looks as though they're delving into the Phantasm stuff mentioned there based on the upcoming covers.

Robin's and Red Arrow's bases are still my favorite, mostly because they look like they were meant to connect together. The colors don't match up perfectly, but those two alone make for a great rooftop diorama. |

Exactly We never got 90's Kyle Rayner, Hector Hammond, Indigo 1, any Guardians, Brother Warth, Bleez, Red Lantern Guy Gardner, a Height Corrected Manhunter Robots or Atrocitus. Expanded version of the other Lantern Corps including a Minimum of 5 members for each.

I bet the top 5 characters I wanted would have been pretty agreeable to all of us. Merlyn, Vixen, Lady Shiva, Dr. Light I, Wildcat II Even with its terrible movie, we got nothing from Jonah Hex characters. BTW, I saw the Total Heroes Mr Freeze today and was kind of tempted to get him. It would be nice to not have a Freeze that is so damn bulky.
