I remember reading somewhere that they limit Sunday delivery to the high priced overnight type stuff but not regular delivery.

I've had a few items that the post office just holds on to for a day, like if it doesn't get to them before 5 or 6 in the morning they hold it for a day. I think I've had packages delivered by them on Sunday, naturally it's not something I'd really remember.

Anyway, Shartimus Prime has reviewed Icons Flash and aside from him missing a set of hands he was initially shown with, he looks amazing.

Hollywood needs some new graphic design/CGI people, that looks awful.
I saw a USPS truck this morning. I would not want to be a postal worker delivering a package to a collector after some of the rants I've seen lol

I was just curious because I have one extra fig of each. I wouldn't even know how to remove the head safely. I've never done custom figs. I'm just amazed how much stuff you can create with the SHFiguarts but those come ready to custom as you please.

For DC Classics figures, I tend to just run the heads under boiling water for a few minutes, it makes the plastic much more pliable and easy to pop off

Do you just hold the figure down while you dip the body? Also, do all DCUC heads fit every DCUC buck of the same size of course?

Not too experienced with the DCUC stuff. Some Legends can just have the heads popped off but considering I ripped the peg out of the body when I did not heat my DCUC Blue Lantern Kyle first, I am definitely going to say heat it up first.
You should be able to just plop the figure down in the water for a bit. It does not need to be boiling but you want it to be quite hot. I would just fill a mug with some water and microwave it for a couple minutes to get it hot and plop him in head first for a few. Then just pull him out and see if it comes off easily. If not, drop him back in for a bit. |

Yep I'll usually just hold the figure by the chest and have his head straight under the faucet. A lot of DCUC heads are interchangeable but some aren't compatible, or they ride too high on the neck peg. You should experiment with it, go nuts!

Okay, so I'm a little confused now with this Flash Icons figure. THe packaging says it is from Chain Lightning, but that was a Wally West Flash story. Yet, the costume is Barry's. Am I missing something? Last I saw, this was supposed to be Crisis on Infinite Earths Flash.

^^Awesome job! He looks great! I have never read the story so I really have nothing but the pictures you linked before to reference but I am thoroughly impressed regardless.

I got the Icons Green Arrow today and he is pretty awesome. He was definitely worth the $20 I paid for him.
Unfortunately, the DCU Green Arrow's arrows don't work all that well with him as I had hoped they would. They are the right size, but the end of the arrows where he grabs them are too thick to stay in his hands. Still, he does look cool with the boxing glove one. I also love how his hood is a soft rubber so you can reveal his head underneath.

Nice Green Arrows. I almost bought that one today but he looked kinda small to me and judging by your pics he would not fit well with the DCUC figs. But nice Arrows non the less.

OK I think the fact that the Icons Green Arrow may just be the first Marvel or DC figure that can properly hold his bow in what appears to be an actual firing position may have just sold me on that figure.
