Well I was not really expecting to run into these as easily as I did but found the Wal Mart exclusive Batman and Cyborg w/ Motherboxes. I kind of like the Battle Armor Cyborg in a weird way. The Batman is pretty solid and I like the cloth cape on him. I think he looks a lot better than the box/ promo pics. Sadly the case pack is 5 Bats and 3 Cyborg. You would think with an exclusive that they would even pack them.
Untitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr Does this Cyborg have an interchangable head? I kinda like the half human/half cyborg face... My Wal-Mart had these too but like others have said they were all on the top shelves. I wasn't that impressed really. I was surprised they chose not to include a an interchangeable head. I don't intend to start any racial stuff so please dont. I was simply thinking that with a lot of political correctness in the world today they chose NOT to include the face of the only African American actor in the movie (That I know of I haven't seen it yet). I thought the paint could be better on the figure. |

So having just started collecting DC figures this year, I made my first Collect and Connect figure this week, by finding the various figures from the wave either in store or online. I had to do it because King Shark was just too damn awesome to pass up doing, even if I didn't care about any of the figures other than Robin (though Zoom is decent now that I have him.)
Good lord though, King Shark is a monster. He's HUUUUUGE. I freakin love this figure so much already. I have never bought a multiverse figure. Until the King Shark wave just for King Shark. I knew when he was previewed that this wave would cost me $. So between, Wal-Mart $16 and TRU Robin and Amazon. I will have the full set Tuesday. I have half of King Shark and OMG is he everything I hoped and more. This figure is amazing. Instantly one of my all time favorites. Paint is on point, articulation it good for the size, MASSIVE! He is worth every penny, even the jacked price on Zoom. |

[QUOTE=Bo Ttef;731182]Yeah, I just find it odd that a company would pick up that version of the figure for the reason I stated. Kinda risky for a company in the world we live in. I am probably over thinking it though.

these are pretty easy. Foam Insulation board is less than $6 for a 2x2 piece. just cut to size, cut in some detail (or even draw it in with a pencil- it's super soft) give it a black base coat then dry brush in greys or whatever color you want your road/wall/etc. Try it out- it's a lot easier than it seems

The dry brushing can take a bit to get how you like it, but essentially you just dab the brush in color then fan it off so it's pretty much gone... then brush over the board and you'll get a really light layer of color that highlights more than covers. Youtube should have tons of tutorials

I tried to make dios, but no matter what I did, I could never get it to look right as I just don't have access to the tools I need to do it, nor do I have the skills to do it. As such, I just gave up.

Where do you get the Styrofoam at? I've only been able to find insulation Styrofoam that comes in large slabs. It's about a foot and a half wide and about 4 feet long. It's about 3/4 of an inch thick and looks like it's made of beads. You're using the blue or pink stuff, right? I've never come across that kind. Thanks.
It comes up as Access Denied but that link still goes to the HomeDepot Foamular page! Access Denied |

I use the pink (I heard recently that the blue is a bit tougher to work with (harder- so that could be good or bad depending on the project) I get mine from HomeDepot in 2x2 slabs that are about $6. Usually they are in a box on the floor near the large wall panel sized sheets...

Wished I could have made a larger Hall of Doom for the background- but it's such a big team it probably would have been buried behind them anyways.

Just curious anyone noticed how there’s a $60 DC multiverse Justice League batmobile on Amazon.
I’m assuming it’s the same as the $250 RC one comeing out soon but minus all the gimmicks. Pure curiosity did get my attention ordered this guy should have it in on Thursday. |

Any news about the Clayface wave? It was shown off at ToyFair, and I haven't heard anything since. Interested in a few from this wave.
