Don't watch any of their new stuff and cry about not getting any toys. They don't care. I'll be getting these and enjoying every minute of their content. |

dude, get over it. They're incentives. That's what incentives are for. They are a brand new subscription service that's taking a huge risk. I'm not surprised by this incentive at all. In fact, it's pretty smart.

...Ofcourse I'll be buying a marked up Wondy on Ebay as soon as she hits because ofcourse I am. Quote:
That said I'm hoping Young Justice S3 will eventually be put out on BD/DVD because I'm not sure about buying a subscription service that's sure to be either auto renewing like Prime or monthly payments like Netflix. |

I've seen physical releases for some Netflix and Hulu original series so it's possible to see physical release for YJ. It might actually be more likely because they still have WB and their distribution backing them.

I don't need to have Netflix to buy toys though.
Yes, I have Netflix (though I'm not the one paying for it), but they have Voltron, several different Marvel shows, Lemony Snickett, Santa Clarita Diet, etc. This DC service has Batman the Animated Series, which I already own on DVD. It has Justice League, which I own on Blu-Ray. It's going to have Brave and the Bold, which I also own on Blu-Ray. It has an adaptation of Teen Titans that looks like dogshit. Swamp Thing and Young Justice don't come out until next year. Oh, and then it's going to have some Harley Quinn show because they apparently don't have any other characters to make a show on. Two shows is not worth $15 a month when I'm already paying for cable TV.

I'm with Kain on this. I will just add that while incentives might help initial sign-ups, the content will determine if people actually keep it.
Also, how many streaming services are people willing to pay for?

I have only streaming services, no cable. Between the two in my household we have: Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, CBS All-Access, Crunchyroll and UFC Fight Pass. Still less than we were paying for cable.

How else am I going to watch Flash, iZombie, Better Call Saul, Simpsons, Black Lightning, Doctor Who, and Arrow when they first air? Plus, my internet is cheaper WITH cable than it is without.

Which I would have to pay for individually if I don't have a cable provider. Oh, and I can't exactly watch things online if I don't have internet. Not to mention I can't fastforward through commercials on an app like I can on the DVR.
By the time I'm done subscribing to everyone's services, I'll be paying twice as much as I do for cable.

So I'm gonna post this question in a couple other relevant threads, but does anyone who has the DC Collectibles Greg Capullo Batman (the standard version) know if his utility belt is a piece that is wedged between his lower torso and crotch or is it a piece that just slides over his waist?

With SDCC I'm really hoping we will finally get some clarification about that phantom wave that popped up a few months ago (Lobo, Batman Beyond, Kingdom Come Superman etc) of what figures will actually be in the wave

One of the best figs in the line! (Wave 16 is one of my faves, being a Batman fan it was great getting a classic Dick Grayson Robin, Az-Bats, Riddler and the Bane CNC)

Recently picked up a handful of miscellaneous DCUC figures (Golden Pharaoh, Star Sapphire, Nautkeloi, and The Shark), and noticed that Golden Pharaoh's got some surprisingly tight joints. For the most part, they're not worrisome, except for his hip swivels - neither of his legs will do forward/back movement well, nor will they stay in position. I can't see the pegs very well, but they look like they may have some stress lining.
Is this a common issue with the figure? What are some solutions for fixing it, if any? (IE a hot-or-cold water treatment, or if I have to actually crack the figure open for this one)
