Actually saw the Clayface wave today at Target. Nice surprise! Also, saw the Batman Missions limited articulation line there, as well. The Harley Quinn figure was very tempting, but with the more articulated version coming down the line I passed on it.

A local grocery store finally put the Wonder Woman figures on clearance and I figured Ares was worth $20. He is. The four figures I had to get to build him are a mixed bag, Hippolyta is the only one I have no substantial grievance with. Both of the Wonder Women have chameleon eyes and training Diana doesn't have toes which is kinda creepy. Steve Trevor's just a bland figure but I got a good chuckle out of seeing that his shotgun's stock just has "CHINA" molded on to one side. I liked the movie so for the price I paid I have no outstanding reason to regret or dislike any of these too much.

Awesome bargain! Hes a cool figure (although he could have easily been a repaint 50/50 split with Barry way back in wave 7 instead of having to wait for the mattycollector line to finally get him!)

Found a DCUC Super Powers variant of Steppenwolf at a convention this weekend, hes a cool figure (although I prefer the comic book version!) and its fun having him with the SP Parademon & Mantis along with their comic counterparts

Nice! I bought the whole set at 5 Below a few months ago and unloaded the loose figures minus the BAF parts on eBay for $8, so I got my Ares for $12. I think this design is much better than the way he appeared in the movie and the figure is solid enough to spend $10-$20 on him without feeling cheated. I also bought the TRU exclusive WW that came with his shield and I repainted the blade of his sword silver.

Thanks! I feel the same way. I’m still disappointed we never got the rest of the flash rogues to be honest. Heatwave seemed like a no brainer

Yeah the lack of Flash rogues was a shame, especially as he has one of the best rogues galleries in comics - heat wave, trickster & weather wizard deserved figures (as well as a classic captain boomerang instead of the Brightest Day version we actually got!) They also could have done an easy 50/50 variant split between Reverse Flash (Eobard Thawne) and Zoom (Hunter Zolomon)

Haha! Exactly! As a huge flash fan (if I had to pick a favorite of the Superheroes he’d be it) I agree. All they’d really need for a zoom is a different Head honestly it would have been so simple. But I’ll never understand why they chose to make that boomerang. I’d definitely preferred the original one over that one. Along with Trickster, heatwave (my top want) and weather wizard. I also wouldn’t say no to The Top, pied piper, Tar pit, Future Flash, Black Flash, thinker, hell I could go on haha! Mattel chose some random choices sometimes. Don’t understand the red hood outfit they choose either.
Oh yeah that Red Hood was such a waste of the subscription slot based on a costume he only wore about 3 times! Thankfully they revealed an upcoming normal Red Hood in the multiverse wave at last! Last edited by JAG2045; 07-31-2018 at 01:51 PM.. |

Hell Black Flash was another easily missed repaint! they could have done a 5 pack of Barry, Wally, Reverse Flash, Zoom and Black Flash! Considering how we got a few Flash figures in the line we could have had Tar Pit or Girder as a good CNC figure (IIRC Girder was an option in the toyfare voting that went to Nekron) and I'm hoping we will get some more Flash rogues in the Multiverse line (the Thinker based on the TV show would have been a great CNC based on the mattycollector Metron figure!)

Yep! That flash 5 Pack And TV thinker would have been a instant buys haha! But You and me both especially considering how great those new Multiverse figures looked at Sdcc (I’m probably gonna get every one) since they showed off Both Wally wests I don’t think a normal Barry flash or any of his rogues are that far away. They probably will announce a Barry or God speed for sure at nycc. I also hope they produce some more of the Arrowverse figures since Dc Collectibles seems to have quit on the line haha. Because that Lynda carter, Ledger Joker And Black Lighting looked pretty good. That Red hood looked amazing well the stock Proto image did. I can not wait for him I have a feeling that’s how everyone feels thou ha. He’s gonna be hard as hell to find
Glad we will finally get a normal Red Hood and I bet he will be a fast seller, it would be cool if they did a 50/50 split of these two looks for him Original https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/...path-prefix=ka Current https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...edHood2016.jpg Heck they could even do one of his original look when he returned in Hush (that DC Collectibles did as an exclusive figure) https://dc.wikia.com/wiki/File:Hush_Jason_Todd_0001.jpg |

Glad you agree yeah the SDCC figs looked great (so glad we will finally get a classic Kyle Rayner!) I'm amazed they havent done an update nu52/Rebirth Barry at any point! Lynda Carter Wonder Woman and Ledger Joker look really good, I'm hoping for a Keaton Batman and "Batman Returns" Catwoman

I'm really hoping that the DeVito-Penguin is a sorta sign of good faith from Mattel that Keaton-Batman & Pfeiffer-Catwoman are on the way. There's not really much point for the little guy, without someone to taunt him.

Anyone got the pic of the new DC Multiverse Red Hood? It's just a grey sculpt so far but it's a classic Jason Under the Red Hood outfit.
Found it. I have not bought Mattel figures in years. I picked up some of the TDKR figures but they went straight into storage. Really excited to get Red Hood, Batman Beyond, and Devito Penguin. Last edited by Penguino; 07-31-2018 at 06:08 PM.. |

I am starting to collect Multiverse figures....what is the target DCPI? Is it same for all their figures or would movie figures have a different DCPI?
