Picked up 2 new Multiverse figures today:
Gotham by Gaslight Batman - really love this figure! The faux leather cape is awesome and the design of the gloves, boots and ears of the cowl are really well done, as is the belt and even the straps holding the armour in place on the sides. The only issue with him is the hard plastic of the upper cape restricts the arm movement (much like the Rebirth Batman) so posing his arms is difficult but aside from that he very cool Rebirth Wonder Woman - A nice update from the classic version and looks very nice with Rebirth Batman & Superman she comes with some nice accessories as well. However the lack of waist or head articulation is a pain as she inst as poseable as other figures. Also the torso hinge joint on my figure isnt great as its really loose so adjusting it always makes it snap back in place (as if there is a spring there) - does any one else have this issue with her? Overall a nice looking figure with great accessories but the lack of articulation does hinder her |

I didn't even notice the lack of a waist swivel in WW until you mentioned it- the chest being a ball joint goes a long ways for me in absolving that though (mine does pop back into place if i 'flick' it down- but just pushing it down it stays but does pop back 'up' easily..) Not super crazy about the face sculpt this time around- but there is no doubt that she is miles ahead of what Mattel was doing with multiverse a few waves ago.

Got my Doctor today- this is an absolutelyamazingly well done figure. Sure, basic bad guy in a suit- but the sculpt is perfect, the hands aren't big chunky mitts anymore- the jacket and lower shirt are a soft plastic that bends easily... And that 8-ball accessory is so cool. I don't know what it's role in the movie is- (might just be a regular poolball that Sivana shatters to show how strong he is) but I can't help but think how awesome it would be if Billy break the magic 8Ball and a tiny mr.Mind is inside it...

Picked up my first DCUC figure in years when I got the All Stars Green Lantern figure, while he's the exact same figure as the wave 3 version the coloring is much better, the metallic green and matte black really go well together (plus he doesn't have that weird white powder my wave 3 GL has!)

Her wave went up for pre-order a little back so hopefully it should go through, of course it won't really matter if they don't fix the distribution situation.

I placed my pre order exactly because of distribution issues. I can find the entire aqua man line, but i have yet to find half the lex luthor line at retail, and i other than that one freak chance, i have yet to see any of the clay face wave excluding martian man hunter. Honestly though i dont mind if mostf igures get cancelled but if they dont get red hood out i will be greatly disapointed.

How's everyone's Jonah Hex figures?
I have been clamoring for one and finally got it only for his wait to crumble and break into several pieces. Did I get a defect or is this common? |

I think that's almost exactly what happened to Dr Kain's Jonah figure.

I'm one of those people who loves posing thier figures around and even if I did replace it I'd have to treat it like glass... Kinda defeats my purpose. When the waist snapped I was going to try and fit it but as the crotch crumbed into bits I was done. Anyone want to sell thiers before it implodes? |
