DC Universe Classics WAVE 12 Revealed????
Over at CriticalMess.net they are reporting to have the inside track on wave 12. The lineup will be: Desaad The Specter with glow-in-the-dark variant Eclipso Mary Marvel Classic with Mary in white variant Iron from the Metal Men Dr. Mid-Nite (Pieter Cross) Copperhead And the Connect Figure will be….. Darkseid, one to tower over Superman. I am not sure how I feel about these. Personally I would rather buy my Metal Men in 2 packs on MattyCollector.com Not being a big New Gods guy Dessad is lost on me but I would like a Darkseid that is massive. But the truth is if Mattel is going to start that, we definitely need a new Mongul, Doomsday, and Big Barda is a MUST. (I know I said I discriminate against New Gods but I consider Barda and Mister Miracle as JLA) Specter I am excited about, and I personally like the Glow in the dark. Eclipso…. Ehhh. Whatever…… I guess…. Well OK Eclipso. Mary Marvel…. I like this. I really hope they make Captain Marvel JR. I would like to have the new black outfit Mary. Dr. Mid-Nite, JSA here we come. I like this a lot because Mr. Terrific was having trouble keeping Hawkman in check. And I personally like this version of the character. Copperhead is a good idea…. But Prometheus would have been a GREAT idea!! What do you guys think??? The Article has some interesting commentary as well. Last edited by Ghost Story; 08-08-2009 at 07:14 PM.. |

What's wrong with the Barda that's out now?
I'm not that interested in this wave if true, since I only collect Batman rouges. |

Darkseid would be nice, but I haven't bought any DCUC figures.
In fact, the only one that I'm anticipating is Gentlemen Ghost, as he's one of my favorite Batman villains. Just the idea that Mattel is going to make one is awesome in my eyes. (1200th post yay!)

I saw Gentleman Ghost sitting around my local Target for the longest time.. I don't remember if he was there yesterday or not.
I haven't bought any DCUC myself. I really want the Booster Gold if I'm going to start anywhere, but if I get Booster, I have to get Blue Beetle, and Mister Miracle is sitting down at my local Fred Meyers.. Gah they've made a lot of characters I'd love to get actually, but MU and GI Joes take up all meh moneys. |

Yeah, what's wrong with the Big Barda that we have now? Anyways, I would love to have a BaF Darkseid. I just wish they'd make them humongous like old Marvel Legends used to make them.

2. Err....what does the modern version look like? This is the one I have: Booster Gold - The DC Universe Classics (DCUC) Info Archive Except mine doesn't have the collar, and his little space ship buddy/thing is opened instead of closed. Regular version has the space ship closed, I believe. Collar, I'm not sure of. 3. Well, I'm just looking at getting back what I paid for it....which is retail. So $13 + shipping?

The modern is the one without a collar, and Skeets with Mr. Mind inside him. So you have the one I want. Don't worry about holding it for me, but if you still have it after my birthday (the 26th of this month) I may contact you. Thanks!

What is Wrong with Big Barda out now?
Hmm well lets start with she isn't BIG? She is more like Barda at age 10. Miracle is Taller than her. She is also thin, almost dainty. Miracle should be stareing at her breasts all the time, because that's as tall as he is to her not just by choice. And She should be thick I'm ok with Wonder Woman being thin like a pinup girl but Barda should have a body like the roids girls in Muscle and Fitness Magazine. So I want a BIG Barda not a Barda's youbger thinner twin sister Barda |
