Made the smart choice with the Supergirl headsculpt. I think this will change the minds of a lot of people on the fence about getting the figure.

The new face sculpt is definitely an improvement for the Supergirl figure. I think the problem with the previous version was the overly dramatic smile they gave her. That said, I kinda wish she still had a smile.

It's nice to see that she might come with an alternate head for flight poses. Hopefully her neck joint will allow that to actually be usefull.

Still, at least that Supergirl doesn't look AS creepy now. The Mattel sculpt still looks better, but improvement is improvement.

No offence, but people NEED to let go of this already. The only reason we even know about these is because DCC put up a poll for the fun of it and to guage possible interest in cancelled projects. There was no guarantee that the winner of the poll would be put into production, or even seriously considered again.

Besides, given all the issues that plagued the Injustice figures and all their current problems with the factories, do people really want to see DCC rush out a line of figures just because of the scale they would be?

I heard that they stabilized the plastics on the Batman TAS figures, so I think that would carry on to this line.

Plus, they were asking what we would like to see released. You know, asking about what would be PROFITABLE for them to release? The fact that these won shows that there's demand, especially since people seem to be mostly gravitated to 6 inch these days, so I'd like them to make good in some capacity.

Wow. Great statues. The horseback vignette seems like a nice tribute to the original cover drawing from Wonder Woman #1 (1942).

Supergirl seems very much improved!

Yeah, they were able to fix the problems with the animated line, but that doesn't mean the same fix could apply to a different scale.

Winning the poll doesn't necesarily mean that the line would be profitable. The poll was voted on mostly by hardcore fans who could easily vote more than once. They'd need more than them to make a new line a success. Plus, like I said, there was no promise that the winner of the poll would ever be made. That poll was, what, three or four years ago?

Only one year, actually, but it's getting to the two year mark. Really, in general, the market is primed and ready for a proper DC equivalent to Marvel Universe. In order to build a Justice League in that scale, you have to go here, there, and everywhere, and you'd have to deal with a few shorties, movie versions that may not reflect the classic look, and customizing skills are a must. Why nobody is facing the challenge with all the history of what not to do is beyond me.

I was gonna get the Mattel one despite liking the sculpt details on this one better cause that first head sculpt was so awful, but now I'm gonna get this one. Much better!

Her alternate head sculpt reminds me of Pippi Longstocking.

Are they ever going to do multi-purpose capes on those figs? If the caped characters had them, I'd buy them immediately.

Me too. An alternate rippling cape would be a terrific bonus.

And possibly expensive. Remember, capes are large pieces of rubber on a figure, and thus would be more expensive to have more than one of. Heads and hands are small pieces, though, and thus more than one does not significantly affect the cost of the figure.

This is just guesswork, though.
