Arkham Knight, Harley Quinn and Scarecrow look great, but Batman seems disproportionate. His shoulders are too big and bulky, his gauntlets are too small. Hopefully the final design turns out better.

I've said before that his head looks too small and no one else seemed to notice or maybe if they noticed they didn't care enough to say. Batman better come with some accessories or those non-fist hands will look pretty dumb. Arkham Origins Batman didn't have any accessories, but both of its hands were fists so that was okay, but if this one doesn't have any gadgets then why did they bother giving it accessory holding hands.

Agreed. Whoever made the Batman design decisions, including reversal of the head sculpt improvements that made DCD Origins so good, has an aesthetic that I do not share. What is their problem with necks? The curly cape is annoying, too. Bummer. I hope they release another wave of Origins that includes a variant of the Origins batman.
By the way, I just received my Origins Deathstroke, and IMHO he is very, very good. Rgds |

That Vertigo Ankh is pretty cool. If I happen to come across one at a Hastings or LCS and have the funds on me, I might pick one up.

Maybe they're holding them back since the game was delayed? I don't think the game even has a firm release date anymore, it was up in the air last time I checked.

I was for a time looking at this AK Batman, but the more I see the more I want the AO Batman instead. The AO suit is more realistic and way less "I wish I was Iron Man", and it has fists which count a lot for me. Entertainment Earth says they're getting more soon-ish, but there are some other not-bad prices available for AO Batman.

En Sabah Nerd, you know your action figures. It took some digging, but enter "Arkham Origins Four Pack" in the DCC search field and you find TWO DIFFERENT four-packs, EACH with a different variant: the Origins four-pack includes batman with new hand sculpt and grapple, while the 75th anniversary four-pack includes the new (comic) paint job with yellow belt and glowing eyes.
The grapple variant also looks like it has a new paint job, darker fabric underneath the ballistic armor. But the promo pictures are likely prototypes, not the final mass produced product, so I'll wait to see more pictures before I pull the trigger on both packs, but one way or another, you just cost me money. I just wish there was a way to get them unbundled. Rgds |
