Apparently something, somewhere happened, and the Azbats/Batman and Sinestro Hal/Blue Kyle twopacks got released.
Came across them yesterday at TRU in Mesquite Texas, much to my surprise! I mean, they told us they were cancelled in the Q&A, after all, right? Happy Hunting!

Got my Azrael, blue and yellow lanterns from overseas months ago and a lot cheaper ( about 10$ each). I had no need for the batman with a scratch accross his chest. and no real need to pay an extra 15$ just to have the lantern accessories.

I like how "War of the Green Lanterns" has one Sinestro Corps (Yellow Lantern) figure and one Blue Lantern figure. Maybe "War of the Former Green Lanterns" is what they meant.

In a Q & A somewhere, Mattel said that they'd already shipped 'em out to retailers not too long ago.

I would contemplate the possibility that they changed their minds after that... but it would take too long to restart the process from that, to when they reached stores for that to be the case.

They don't know what they're talking about then. Because for the Q&A here, I personally asked them about the fate of these sets when the total callapse of the first Allstar line happened (Before the restructuring into the single wave we're getting now), and they'd said they were cancelled. Oi.

Sorry, it's not like I made it up or anything.
But here's where I saw it: Ask Mattel March 15th + Link Roundup « It'sAllTrue.Net Then again, this was in March. They must've shipped 'em around the globe once or twice first. |

Yup, been seeing these for months. I don't collect them but if I had known they were obscure I would have posted them. I would love the Hal/Kyle pack in the 3.75" scale but that probably won't ever happen. Well, I think they were the only Green Lanterns not possessed at the time, along with John and Guy. All the Green rings were corrupted so they had to use other rings they laying around to fight the rest of the GL Corps.

Hope to find these soon! Wouldn't mind a John/Guy pack, but that would probably require too much tooling.
