Hello everyone,
Given the recent "Iron Man" craziness, I thought it would be cool to give you guys a definitive visual guide to most of Iron Man's main armors. I found these two pictures on the net, but I'm not sure where they are from or who did the artwork. Anyway, when I came across them, I thought they would make a great visual guide for Iron Man fans and customizers. I'm sorry if this has already been posted somewhere else. The original pictures did not have any of the armor names on them, just the "Model #", which was not very helpful, so I added the names for each one. Now, I use the word "definitive" only because I spent a CRAPLOAD of time researching and sorting out the different names and models for these damn things. That said, the model numbers don't necessarily mean anything important. I know I'm definitely not the biggest Iron Man junkie here, so don't yell at me if I got something wrong. If you guys think something needs to be changed, let me know. Obviously, some of the more obscure/one-shot armors are not included here. These are really just the main armors built and worn by Tony Stark (with the exception of War Machine). Also included are the 5 "Argo Armors" from Project Argonaut. There was only one damn armor I could not, for the life of me, figure out: "Model 27". If anyone knows where the hell that armor is from, please let me know. The newest armor, the "Bleeding Edge" Armor debuting in Invincible Iron Man #25, is not here either. I plan to continue this visual guide as new armors come along. Enjoy! Iron Man Armory, Vol. I: Iron Man Armory, Vol. II: Iron Man Armory, Vol. III:

Nice work, dude! Really give people a frame of reference when collectors start throwing out armor names.

That is awesome dude!
I gotta say, I think the Pentagon Armor is my favorite. Really like the Extremis armor too.

Perfection, cept for one mistake.

I'm not sure I understand what the mistake is. In the initial post, I clearly said "with the exception of War Machine".

Rhodey's Sentinel Armor is one of those obscure ones that I said are not there. If I have time, I'll make another guide for all the little one-shot armors (there are a lot).

Ok, here's a quick update on the two newest, most recent armors I can think of. Vol. III will obviously get bigger as more armors are made.
Iron Man Armory, Vol. III:

If anyone knows of any recent armors I should include, speak up.
Also, if anyone has a specific armor they would like to see in a future visual guide, let me know!

as far as i know from IIM #25:
bleeding edge is an upgrade of Extremis, powered by the Repulsor Tech Rig on Stark's chest and stored inside stark's body. the difference between this and extremis is while parts of the Extremis armor is stored in a suitcase, the bleeding edge armor is completely hidden away inside Tony. we'll get more info as the series progresses |

Awesome Armory collection. Thanks.
Am I the only one that hates the idea of the armor being stored "inside Tony"? As cool as Extremis was, I just can't get with that concept.

Thanks, I tried to be as accurate as possible. I figured it would be a good help for customizers doin' some of the more lesser known armors. I'm gonna try to do a seperate guide for War Machine and other armors not mentioned.

May-haps, lol.
By the way, can anyone find me a good picture of "Lord Iron" from Marvel 1602? I've been having trouble with that one.

Thanks eisen. Yea, I have that one, that's the one I'm using as a default right now. I would love to get one from the actual comic, but i don't have it.
