I think MCU Vision was rumored, either for this first or second wave. And but otherwise yeah what a great wave! I would buy it.

After seeing Thor Ragnarok and getting to see a certain giant fire demon in action, I started thinking about how it might be nice if we got giant guys in two packs, like a versus idea. We would get a really big figure and a regular size figure (like what they briefly did with the 3&3/4 universe figures, but 6 inch scale this time).
So far I have ideas for: Surtur vs Thor (either a reissue of an already existing Thor or make a new classic outfit Thor) Ego vs Silver Surfer Spider-Man vs Big Wheel (I know it might never happen, but it'd be amazing if it did.) Frost Giant vs Loki or Thor or Odin Sentinel vs any X-Man character Shadow King vs Professor X Captain America vs the Sleeper Spider-Man vs 90's animated Spider Slayer Kree Sentinel robot vs Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell) Fin Fang Foom vs Iron Man (so everyone can finally get their hands on one) Galactus vs any of his heralds Atlas vs Baron Zemo Goliath (evil one) vs Citizen V |

That one's easy to customize from the Valkyrie 2-pack, but there might be one on the way: https://static.wixstatic.com/media/a...fbeefb~mv2.jpg

So I put a bit of thinking into the next few year's X-waves and I think I finally have a realistic line up we could see. I'd like to note that we would likely get one X-Men related SDCC set, either Hellfire Club or New Mutants, and that we can expect a Giant Sized X-Men set as a non-wave exclusive set, taking care of our FA Storm and Colossus. Finally, good chance they could put Sunspot and Cannonball in the 2020 Deadpool wave. So without further ado...my definitive waves for 2019-2022
2019 - BAV Professor X Hoverchair Professor X Mystique (Classic) Nightcrawler (Classic) Gambit (Jim Lee) All New All Different Wolverine Beast (Classic/Jim Lee blue) Moonstar (new mutants standard outfit, or possibly 00's version w/ all the guns and accessories) 2020: BAF: Sauron Wolverine (Black X-Force Storm (Jim Lee white outfit) Bishop Angel (Blue or Red outfit) Mister Sinister Blink (AOA version as the one more are familiar with) Sebastian Shaw 2021: BAF Nimrod Rogue (Modern hooded or 80's look) Banshee (classic) Lady Deathstrike (class preferred but I could see modern) Pyro Avalanche Wolverine (Astonishing X-Men? FA? gonna have some form of wolvie in there) Exodus 2022 BAF: Sentinel Part I Wolverine (yet another version just not sure what) Colossus (Jim Lee version) Monet Shadowcat (blue version) Iceman (classic smoother look) Magneto (whichever version is not in the upcoming wave out of Modern and classic) also 2022 BAF: Sentinel part II Rachel Grey (classic) Archangel Emma Frost (modified classic white queen look, original too risque) Cyclops (X-Factor? Astonishing?) Emplate Havok (classic) I think, if we have these done, we could pretty much declare the X-Line done. Oh there's tons of others we'd like to see, I could probably list and would buy 2-3 waves a year easy, but I think all of this is entirely possible. Of course it won't pan out this way but it's kind of a lineup I could see being done. |

Waves in the 3.75 line can include the Marvel-owned Microns known as Bug, Marionette, or Atrustus Rann formally of the Micronauts (owned by Hasbro). Release them in the Legends 3.75 inch line, and coincide their release, with a 3.75 inch (re)branded 'Hasbroverse 2 pack' line by Toys R Us. This way we'll get characters from the Marvel-owned Microns and the Hasbro-owned Micronauts.

A greater variety of 'Hasbroverse 2 packs' by Toys R Us, can beautifully include figures from all properties (Micronauts, ROM, Transformers, and G.I.Joe included)! Simply include anyone from TF to help sell it. Maybe "brand" it a Transformers product. There's always multimedia backing in a TF toon, film, or great-selling comic every year. This can (re)convince Toys R Us of better sales. Hasbro can just re-paint the Sdcc Revolution figures and include new accessories in such a TRU exclusive. Coupled with ROM and the Micronauts, I'd love to see 2 packs with Dashiel and Marissa Fairborn figures!
Anybody registered on TFW2005 or Hisstank.com? Feel free to bring up the idea of 'Hasbroverse 2 packs' to the Mods on their fansites. I'm sure each fanbase has other characters / figures they'd like to see. Last edited by Super Joe; 11-11-2017 at 05:40 PM.. |

Been a bit since this thread has seen any life, so let's throw out a new, outside-the-box wave:
Mobile Heroes - Characters debuting in Marvel's various mobile and social media games (Contest of Champions, Future Fight, Puzzle Quest, and Avengers Alliance) BAF: While he's been done as a BAF before, a new mold would be required for his majesty King Groot, ruler of Planet X! Heroic Legacy: Captain America (Sharon Rogers) - in 'winged helmet' gear, with lance and shield accessories, and a short-hair alternate head Heroic Legacy: Captain America (Peggy Carter) - with shield accessory Guillotine (Jeannine Sauvage) - with La Fleur du Mal sword accessory Morningstar (Queen Haasen) - with flail weapon Luna Snow (Seol Hee) - with ice formation accessories that fit over her hands, and a microphone accessory Quasar (Avril Kincaid) - with golden energy accessories Sentinels of Liberty: Civil Warrior (Steve Rogers) - with Arc Shield and repulsor blast accessories Sentinels of Liberty: Knight America - with Sword of Liberty and Shield of Freedom accessories Exclusive two-pack: Heroes of South Korea - White Fox (Ami Han) with battle stave, and Gun-R with energy blasts and removable shoulder blasters (Disclaimer: White Fox and Gun-R only appeared in the Contest of Champions tie-in comic, but would make a great two-pack; Avril Kincaid appeared in comics first, but she adds some variety to an otherwise Captain America-heavy wave, since the only other options were either of two more versions of Cap)

Got another one, which has a lot of redos as well as some new faces...
Fighting Legends - Characters featured in Capcom's series of Marvel-based fighting games (who haven't been recently released in the past couple years/aren't slated for release at this time) BAF: I've said it before, and I'll say it again, it's high time we pay respect to the Many-Angled One, Shuma-Gorath! Spiral - Revisiting the older Hasbro figure with modern engineering, with a couple of swords and knives as accessories (no removable helmet) Silver Samurai - with removable helmet, and both a katana and "energy wrap" accessory (like Thor's lightning in the Ragnarok two-pack) Blackheart - A new take on the Toy Biz figure, larger than average (7" or more), with fully-jointed legs and tail Gambit - Someone in dire need of an update (his only Legends figure is from early in the Toy Biz days), with alternate hands (one open, one closed for holding, and one holding an energized card), thrown-card energy accessory, and staff War Machine - Probably a retool of one of the movie versions (for instance, the Civil War two-pack release) with removable weapons for his shoulders Storm - Jim Lee-style, with electrical energy wraps MODOK - Another oddball from the Toy Biz era in need of an update, with flight stand Marrow - with multiple bone weapons and slots in her back to store some of them, and an alternate 'bone growth' head Walgreens exclusive: Doctor Doom - Tying in with the Fantastic Four theme Walgreens has been entertaining, a fully-realized new take, with "kirby crackle" energy accessories, alternate hands (fists, a trigger hand, and open palms), and handgun

Just a few alterations would make her stellar, tbh.

Springing out of a comment I made in the main series: A Wolverine themed (Overkill) wave!
BAF: Hulkverine/Weapon H - making a stretch on the BAF because I'm not sure of a larger scale Wolverine figure. First Appearance Wolverine Death of the Horsemen Of Apocalpyse Wolverine Weapon X Wolverine (with the Weapon X helmet thingie...) X-Force Wolverine (Black Outfit version) New X-Men Wolverine (Leather jacket look, Morrison's run) AOA Weapon X Wolverine Wolverine & The X-Men Wolverine (very close to Astonishing X-Men but a few modification, this would be the closest to standard Wolverine we'd get) Venom Wolverine (yeah, it happened. Yeah, I'm stretching). |

I’d buy that whole wave, but I’d hate you for giving Hasbro the idea...
I wish they’d make waves make sense, like.. AoA wave, with an AoA apocalypse BAF 90’s toon wave cartoon sentinel BAF Outback X-men wave BAF bone breaker Original X men wave (all 60’s style villains) BAF 60’s sentinel Wolverine wave (mostly villains) shava BAF But Hasbro likes to break it up to force us to buy figures in uniforms and from eras that we have no interest in... |

I'd love some classic Avengers waves with corresponding BAFs like Hank Pym Goliath and Clint Barton Goliath. I would also love an Orca BAF in a Submariner wave, but since I don't see a Subby line happening I wouldn't have a problem with him being part of an Avengers line along with Attuma since both have fought the Avengers.

I would love some 2099 waves. All I got in full would be an X-Men wave
X-Men 2099 Wave Skullfire Xi'an (Desert Ghost as he is sometimes called) Bloodhawk Metalhead (either look) Cerebra Meanstreak La Launtica Krystalin BAF: Brimstone Love I would love to see this expanded to Spider-Man 2099 and some other characters. It could be cool. Maybe have them sprinkled into a few waves so it's not so 90's guy obsessed in one wave. |

I'm thinking about SDCC box sets these days. I listed these in the ML 6" thread but I figured I'd post here too. Some ideas:
A comic style Black Order box set. Include all 5 original members and maybe even throw Thane in there. A Thanos Wins box set with: Old Man Thanos- which just needs a new head and some skirt pieces Cannibal Hulk- easy retool of any Hulk figure with a new head (possibly a pretool for a new Maestro?) and a chain around his neck Silver Surfer- (trying to avoid spoilers) he just needs to be painted grey and have that one special weapon Cosmic Ghost Rider- if not a complete new figure, then some kind of retool from the Udon Taskmaster figure could work maybe? They could always sell him in a single card later on too. Death- give her two heads, one skeleton and one with the human face they have been drawing her with for a while now. Or maybe a era-specific box set like 90's X-Factor or original Thunderbolts (minus Songbird since we just got her). |
