Why does Mattel make it so damn hard to actually purchase a yearly club membership? You have to be there like one day outta the year and the PRECISE time in order to have any hope of actually getting one. This is bullcrap.
Furthermore I feel that the system Mattycollector uses is quite inadequate for what theyre trying to accomplish. Anyone have any thoughts , comments or advice for me on this? |

They had it open for a month, and then extended it, and then extended it again. There was plenty of time.
Other than that, yes I would agree their third party shipper Digital River freakin sucks. |

Yeah, not really sure what you're talking about. The club subscription was open for a long time, and they extended it numerous times. Not sure what you mean by having to be there one day at a precise time. I think you have your info mixed up dude.

I dont know what youre lookin' at man, but everytime Ive checked theyve always been sold out. Really though I was also talking about the availability of some of the figures aswell. Like if they know something is gonna sellout , wouldnt it be logical to make larger production runs?

Are you confusing buying the sub with buying the monthly figures??? That's what it sounds like. When the subs were available, anyone and everyone who wanted one had more than enough opportunity to buy one.

Go onto Matty collector in late July through end of August. Buy sub. The end. Production numbers need to be planned months in advance, so they take the sub six months out from the first month sale. They fill the sub orders and then make a smaller amount extra for day of sale depending on the probable demand from figure to figure. They also give nearly the first full six months of the sub in reveals at SDCC so that you know at least half of what you're going to get with the sub. |
