Seriously, Disney needs to team up with the Four Horsemen and do show accurate multi posseable toys on Gargoyles!!! The first wave could easily come with a Build-A-Figure of either a Steel Clan bot or Coyote from the episode "Upgrade."

No, the BAF need to be Xanatos in red Steel Clan armor form "The Edge". OR a Disney Store Exclusive. "The Edge" is my favorite episode of the entire series. Also how am I supposed to get 5 Steel Clan robots if he is a BAF :-P

This is a nice idea, but it would most likely be a partnership with Hasbro. Through Disney's ownership of Marvel, they already have a quasi-relationship with Hasbro. However, everything we've seen from the Four Horsemen (Gothitropolis and Seventh Kingdom in particular), screams out that they would be best suited for a Gargoyles toyline. I would like to own much of what I've seen of the Gothitropolis and Seventh Kingdom lines, but due to outrageous eBay prices, I only have the three Time Keepers...

I would FEAR what they would do to a new cartoon for Gargoyles. They don't know what ANIMATION is now a days. Everything is all this cg garbage like Green Lantern, Beware the Batman and such where the writing is not all that bad but the cg just kills it for me, and they cancel good cartoons like Young Justice. Maybe I am just old school. I like real animation.

I prefer 2D animation, but I don't mind 3D as long as the writing is good. In the case of Clone Wars, TF Prime, Green Lantern, and Beware the Batman, the writing simply was not even passable in quality.
Thge problem is, Gargoyles would not work in this day and age. One of the things about the show is how much people would see them, but there was no proof to prove their existence. Now, one battle and it would be all over Youtube within 5 minutes. There is no way to keep their existence a secret, which was one of the best things about the show, the mystery about whether the Gargoyles were real or not in the world they lived in. Another issue is the world we live in today and when it comes to cartoons. Elisa would no longer be allowed to carry a real gun. Hell, they aren't even allowed to show the episode when she gets shot on TV anymore as it is considered too violent for kids even though it shows why playing with a gun is a bad thing to do. It shows Broadway's reaction to it and how he realizes the difference between what he sees in a movie and what is in the real world. The show would never be allowed to give us the complex story telling it gave us back in the 90s either, as everything would be needed to cater to the "Our audience is stupid" mentality that plagues cartoons these days.

I don't need a Gargoyles line to spend money on, I collect enough toys as-is!
However, I would love to see a line with updated sculpts that hit a sweet spot between show-accurate and detailed (maybe give the skin some texturing resembling stone?). There's plenty of characters to choose from, and if nothing else, a plainclothes Elisa would rock (as opposed to the 'flight suit' one from the oooooold toyline). |

The idea has potential and Gargoyles could be a great line to revisit/update. I'm sad there were never figures made of The Pack and of some of the other clans.

Meh, The Pack would probably not have even resembled their show counterparts outside of the faces.
