one of my frequent complaints is my residency in Dayton Ohio, and how much Distribution seems to SUCK here.
So today I went on my lunch break, and I was pleasently suprised! Walmart Had 2011 Wave 2, or atleast a First Appearance Wolverine. This is a big plus as I hadnt seen them in the wild till today. Also had the Wolverine/Samurai 2pack Target had Plenty of First Appearance Wolverines and Apocalypse. Again, Wave 2 But the BIG suprise was Toysrus. For over a year, the only thing theyve had is Galactus. Today? COMICPACKS AND MU!!! though whats funny is the MUs were from year 1 and 2. They had black panther, moon knight, union jack, grey hulk So good news Better Distribution in my area. Hope its looking good for you

I haven't been out on a hunt for about 2 weeks. I'm going out for lunch with my gf tomorrow though, and I'll be pretty close to a few big retailers so after food I'm gonna check things out.

Same here bro I was able to get a hopeless Cable a while back & the original Human Torch & even a Taskmaster & Deapoll pack for a fellow arker so It's looking nice here in NYC. There is a YouTube reviewer who found the rare ML X Force Psylocke (as in 8 in the world rare!!!) & I'm trying to find the rest so I can nab one at leats but the piece of **** got em all & auctioned 'em off like the last ML 2 Packs that came out (hence why the Times Square TRU says limit one item per customer on all toys).

Here in Canada, we're plagued with inconsistent distro. Most annoying thing in the world, actually. I won't see anything but Multiple Man figures, become disheartened and spend a crapton of cash online to get my figures, then I suddenly find that they've populated the aisles with loads of figures, and it's very inconsistent, too. Like I'll see Wave 1 toys suddenly on the shelf or like 10 Deadpool vs. Taskmaster comic packs. Usually I'm weeping about how much extra money I spent on a figure that I have to get shipped here, I feel especially sad when the figure is still in transit and it's cheaper at my local department store, then I really cry hard.

Better distribution?
I still see the same crap every god damned day. I went hunting Friday (which for me includes, not joke, 6 cities- 2 TRUs, 12 Wal-Marts, 9 Targets, 3 comic stores, a few other stores) and the newest thing I saw was a Wolv/SS 2 pack. No new joes, no new Marvel, and every Marvel remod for targest has Wave 13. Anyone needs something from there, let me know. We are about to be swimming in them. Really close to giving up collecting. |

The title is somewhat true.. The target that had the wave 14 stuff I posted in my other thread also had loads and loads of other new stuff. DC young justice dioramas, singles, 2-packs, the batman arkham city, even the Iron Man 6 inches hit somewhere outside of TRU! New wwe stuff including some target exclusive championship pack, the new NFL wave.. it was nuts. It was like they ordered EVERYTHING and got it all in one day. However, I only collect MU nowadays, so nothing else caught my eye to pick up.
This is mostly true here as well, however, there is this one that I hit up that still does pretty well. They had a deadpool/taskmaster the other day that I left, but is of course now, gone. |
