Am I the only one who likes this line? I know the 5 inch line has plenty of fans, and I respect that, but I find the 3.75 inch line is quite decent.

Too small to mix lines, too few figures to properly collect, and sculpt & articulation aren't the best. A shame, I always wanted a 4" David Tennant to go with my Star Wars figures.

I have a tenth doc in trenchcoat with the tardis of his era a few dahleks. Most the humans in this line are not that great looking and sadly most local retailers in my area have dropped the line. Also picked up a Cyberman he's so short next to other robot figs but doesn't matter since I just used the head from it to be "handles". If I get a tenth doc out of the trench coat I'll be happy. Other than that maybe the occasional alien might be cool

Yeah, I find the shortness to be the main problem with them. It's a result of all the other lines in this scale actually getting a bit taller for some reason. I think the wave 3 Tenth Doctor in trenchcoat and Amy Pond are good examples of the potential this line has in terms of sculpt, since a lot of fans of the 5 inch range actually kind of liked them(we just need more of those types of figures). The articulation leaves a few points to be desired, but is quite satisfactory. I'm just happy I can collect Doctor Who figures in this scale at all, to be quite honest.

Am I the only one upset that THIS is the closest thing we have to a Tardis playset? I think they need to redo it, even if half the thing is made out of cardboard.

Oh yeah, their "playsets" are garbage. Nothing more than glorified paper bases.

I love all Toy lines, as long as they're interchangeable.

Best I can do for an original figure pic is this: https://plus.google.com/111009415242...ts/4YG1yRVxh3G

Any tips on how to fix that?

Dude, share pics! Post info about it if you can! I'm desperate for a K9 in
the 3.75 inch scale!

I'll post later or tomorrow. I'm supposed to be studying my cdl license book. Anyhow here's a link to what he looks like but I bought mine at booksamillion but can't find him on their site. He metal so very durable. I ripped the chain from his but and he's looked perfect to me.

So a few months back, I found this image: The only painted example I can find a pic of is this: https://m.facebook.com/1541956046565...pe=1&source=42

Thoughts?

That painted version is the 5" scale. Based on the articulation, the prototype is indeed 3.75". I've never heard anything about it. If he came with a 3.75" John Hurt head, I'd definitely buy it.

As for K9, I have a pull-back-and-go figure free with the Doctor Who magazine that's MU scale. But MU is bigger than these figures, so he's a bit big for actuall 3.75" Doctor Who figures.

Actually, the rest of the figures are from the 3.75 inch range(I have some official pics of a 10 and 12 in the suits somewhere...). The Tardis is actually a big giveaway, too, since the official version that will be coming out later on will actually light up the signs and doors(something I wish the 3.75 inch scale one did, as well).

Need pics of K9.

I would love to do a tardis with room like in the episode journey to the center of the tardis. Big old beach engines a huge library. A weird teck orb room. And others that have only been talked about but never seen. Swimming pool scullery companion bed rooms even a smaller old tardis hub or 2. The wardrobe adpnd parking garage too.

Am I the only one who kind of wants the Hide Tardis set? I find the Tardis that's included with it to be oddly appealing to me. I could care less about Clara, and the 11th Doctor I'll take anyway he comes.

I saw this set in a lcs the next town from where I live but at 85.99+ tax it stood there. I understand it's imported and there must be some sort of demand but for it is and what it does the price wasn't worth it imho.sadly that lcs closed down but I think it was due to there being 12 huge ass conference tables of guys just playing pokemon and other card games. Sure people were in the store but I doubt they really ever bought more than a few sodas and candy bars.

I think I saw it at $29.99 on Amazon.com. Still a bit steep, but certainly a more reasonable price.

I meant a bit steep for what you get. Again, I only really want the Tardis.
