Thanks guys. I'm going to try and crank out some more drawings soon. I'm in school to be an Art teacher, which has been really time consuming.

Great stuff, DFD. I always appreciate good sketch artists (I can't color worth crap, LOL). Side story, met Dustin Nguyen last year and he whipped up a Batman Beyond sketch for my wife and I in a couple of minutes...needless to say I was amazed and thrilled.

Awesome Art DFD. Joker in a Straight jacket is one of my faves.

Thanks! I'm gearing up for another semester and wanted to draw something timely. I might get a chance to do another one soon, not sure yet what I would draw though.

I've been doing some printmaking in school, just wanted to mix things up and I really like it. Here is Frank and the Bride of Frankenstein.

Nice work man! I love print making. I took it too when I was in school. You have some beautiful textures in your work. Keep it up. I would love to see more.

Thank you.
I didn't think anyone cared, so I sincerely appreciate your support guys. Printmaking is really time consuming, but if a print turns out right it is worth a lifetime of effort to me. Anyway, I'm new to it and I'm only involved in the purely from scratch methods at this point, but already I can tell that it is a medium I will be involved with for quite some time. By the way, I'm doing stone lithography and other crazy, old school methods so my efforts to generate decent art will continue to evolve. Again, thank you for giving a shit. -Chris |

Ah, not completely from scratch because I saw a similar example online, but this turned out pretty swell. It is the Masque of Red Death, and it was fun to do. I etched out the design on a copper plate and ate away at the areas I carved into with acid. I printed these earlier before I had to work on another subject, but I thought I'd share because it was fun.

Hey guys, I had a stellar commission done recently by a local artist while I was at the STL Wizard World Con. The event itself wasn't that great, but this artist is awesome and I'm glad I was able to enlist his superb services.
His comic site is: demonkings.com, where you can see more of his work. Top notch. |
