So who would win?both men have armor tech that is out of this world but who is better,you got stark with enough money to buy the world but instead puts it twards his tech yet Von Doom has the money and one thing stark lacks,the dark arts,so in the end who wins?

I must agree with classified here. We're talking about a character who's taken the power's of the Beyonder, Odin, and the Silver Surfer to name a few (Comics, video games and Movie for reference). His potential to gain near omnipotence trumps Tony this time.

Yeah, but couldn't Tony just explain magic away as simply a science most don't understand yet and then invent an armor capable of temporarily nullifying Doom's magic just long enough to give him the edge he needs to prevail?

nah. In the end Doom's vanity does him in with no one to blame but himself. It takes every hero to bring down a fully powered up Doom.

Oooh, and since Doom's trademark is siphoning power from others...how about he siphon's Stark's Armor energy dry? Ahh, I like Doom.

Doom, obviously. Not to say Tony wont put up a fight, because he will. But magic is the deciding factor in this battle of the brains.

Well, the first two issues have synopses in the link posted above, but the last two do not. It seems this may be a reworked plot from a previous Iron Man arc (based on the info given with the first issue of the miniseries). As for how Tony wins, I'm guessing he hotwires one of Doom's inventions/weapons and has it backfire on Doom somehow.

Personally, I think Doom would win since he has, as CLASSIFIED said, both magic and science at his command and is every bit the genius that Stark is.

Also, in Marvel Comics continuity at least, magic is not some super-advanced technology that we have yet to understand. Magic is just that - magic.

Doom's only faults are his arrogance, pride and vanity. But I'm sure if Doom's goal was the death of Iron Man, even those faults wouldn't stop him.

So far in the story arc, the only reason why Doom would lose is because of the company that Doom keeps around.
