Yeah, this is a variant I sure hope to find and not have to pay for.. but I'm assuming he gets ebayed for me as this wave will be just as scarce as Cable wave most likely, especially the variant(s).

Weird- he looks more cloudy white than clear. More opaque than Vision's variant is.

Another board was saying dr strange may be two per case. Then again, phasing vision is more common than regular vision. We'll see with this one.

I hope I find a regular one. I think the word variant often gets mixed up with rare. I'm still trying to figure out how people were paying more for no baby Cable than with baby. Just because it's a variant doesn't mean it'll be more hard to find. I'd give my variant phasing Vision to my dog if I could find a regular one.

I think patience with this Waves variants is at the top of the list. I have to ebay these and hopefully they'll be plentiful further down the line.

Another example would be the variant warpath. The original x force one is way more rare.
I hate it but I'm always inclined to look through each xmen 6 pack to find a variant one. I always see a bunch at disney and tru. Fail Has anyone seen anything on a variant ff4 pack? I would think they would have a clear invisible woman. Then again, that would make complete sense but mu wouldn't do that. |

Like others have said, the variant might be more common than the "regular" figure like the phasing vision which at first rare but then the much easier to find figure and much less expensive even though when the phasing vision first came out, it was going for 100+ on eBay.
IMO, this variant doctor strange doesnt look all that great. |

agreed. I'm not too impressed with it. I'll be looking for the regular one for sure though.

As a completist I GOTTA HAVE both. But, I agree with Omega and Symbiote the regular one is much more impressive than the variant.

I wish the variant was his modern "Strange" costume. Simple, modern/updated and epic all at the same time.

What's so special about an overcoat and some dockers? I wouldn't buy a doctor strange in that costume.

I'm a sucker for simplicity and updated looks. For me, I find it hard to buy a character who doesn't go with a "team". Once that Wonder Man comic pack comes out, it will make life easier because I have Black Panther which solo street level people is what I call them.
Of course I had to buy a Guardian seeing I am Canadian and all, but if I wasn't I would probably pass on him.

I found a shitload of him a year ago...wish I got them. During the Dark Avengers events, the Dark Xmen made me happy. Pointer as...Omega was it? Was epicly awsome, and I wanted a custom for that one day. Oh well though lol
