I ordered and received these from Big Bad Toy Store a long time ago. Is this article saying that they will now be available in North American retail stores as well? Like FYE or Toys R Us? Also, it's interesting that the pictures shown are those of the rare chase figures, not the standard assortment, with the exception of Clara.

Sorry, I stand corrected on the Clara. The blue dress was the standard release. The red dress is actually the variant.

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere that one of the designers for Iron Man 2 or Iron Man 3 was on the design team for the new Cyberman. That's why there's a strong similarity, all the way down to the "Arc Reactor" style chest unit.
