Really, what's up with the lipstick on Drax!?!
No un-helmeted head sculpt on Star-lord?!?! |

Other than little Groot, the Marvel Legends did it better.

Big fan of Selects but those hips have to go. They just look bad. Not sure why Draxs face looks like hes effeminate.

Wow, these look vastly superior compared to the Marvel Legends! Going to pick up both.

I asked Diamond online and they said that they accidently showed the unmasked Starlord head and it will not be produced at all. Not even as an exclusive. I find it strange that We get a comic Gamora to round out the team, but No Movie version??

Sigh. Guess I'll have to buy an extra Drax and Starlord for a Rocket and Groot.

I really, really don't understand the lack of non-masked Peter Quill with this. Cost of including Rocket? And the original Select Rocket and Groot was a much nicer look. Drax looks awful too. No one quite seems to get the subtleties of his tattoos. It's always too pronounced or he looks like he's having a Taco Bell moment. It's kind of like the Select Doctor Strange. He's just too much to the comic version. Proof that some Marvel Select figures work well, but most don't.

They're not really Tattoos. It's scarification. That's why the markings are so pronounced. They look pronounced in the film. Although some incarnations might be more prominent then others.
