I've been watching Diamond Select Toys' Facebook page, and they've been great about posting up-to-date pics for some of their new and upcoming releases, including new Star Trek ships, Knight Rider, The Munsters toys and more.

I wish I could have these.
But I gotta say, the box for the D looks like it's straight out of the seventies. They did't even use the TNG font.

Are all the ships in this line to scale?
I hope so. |

To each other? No. A lot of the smaller ships are still made in about the same size. I would say that the D and E scale pretty well together and both work with the F-Toys Defiant.

On top of what Iceman says, no one's ever really made any line of ships to scale.
When you mix these, various models over the years, Micro Machines, Playmates ships, and all of the various different toy ships over the years, you can get a few that are roughly to scale. (Playmates Bog Cube is almost to scale with Galoob's Micro Machines Enterprise-D, that type of thing)

I also find that the Jem'hadar fighter from Furuta is close enough and since the Bird of Prey has been shown at so many different sizes I'm gonna roll with the Hot Wheels version.

On top of that, I believe this and the Playmates BoP are roughtly in scale with the Micromachine Runabout.
As like you said the BoP have been shown to be in multiple sizes (unfortunate, as it's a brilliant smaller sized ship, ala III and IV, but comes off a bit silly when they jake it up to being equal to a galaxy class) The (Hot Wheels?) Reliant that came out with the 2007 movie should be in scale with Art Assylum and Playmates D and E. The same series BoP should be in scale with AA's NX Enterprise. My problem is, aside from Galoob, no one's ever really given the Trek ships a really good go. Anytime anyone gets the lisence to make them, they do maybe a dozen and stop. And it's always the same ships. Original Enterprise (And now Reboot Enterprise), A, D, Klingon BoP, Romulan BoP, Klingon D-7. And maybe if we're lucky, expanded into the Defiant, NX, E, Romulan Warbird, Reliant, and B and/or Excelsior. I mean, not even Voyager often makes that "expanded" list. With Micro Machines, we got soooo many really cool lesser ships, like the Nebula Class(My favorite), and the Oberth. Even out of scale, it was just so nice to have such a range.

And Diamond has said multiple times that Voyager or the Defiant are unlikely. I'm guessing someone along the line doesn't think they would sell enough. The Bird of Prey may be the only alien ship they do unless it sells very well.

I know. Aside from price, that's something that really killed my interest in Diamond's ship line from the start.
It's bad enough that Playmate's Voyager is so hard to find, and so expensive on the secondhand market. I still wish a company would invest in a full, in scale line, with the big ships like the D and E topping out at Diamond's scale, and venture into multipacks with the smaller ships. Instead of electronics, focus on ship features (Galaxy's ability to separate, Voyager, Defiant, and BoP's moving parts, maybe include Build-a-Ship/Station parts... such as pieces to construct a large Borg Cube or DS9

I got the felling that they would make ships like Voyager if they could. Like it's either one of the bosses or the license holder that doesn't like the idea.
I got their 1701-E on a whim years ago from the Star Trek store in Vegas. It was something like $30 as they were closing and I bought the "battle damaged" one too. I remember seeing that on ebay for next to nothing since everyone wanted the clean version. They didn't even sell out until the D was released. And once the stock was gone on that the price went through the roof. I remember at one point both D ships going a couple hundred before they announced they were making more.
