This is a brilliant way to do a variant. And being both a big fan of the film and the animated show, I need these. Not like I can chase down any originals MOC from back in the day for less than a couple hundred so these will scratch that itch a bit.

Out of everything they've done for GB, this is what I'm most looking forward to. I'd have been happy if the entire Firehouse assortment was nothing but the Ghostbusters and assorted ghosts from the cartoon, or even redoes from the old line.

These are pretty cool if you've got the previous series sets. I would imagine those are hard to find and/or over inflated.

Not really, BBTS has them all in-stock at the moment, most of the older ones are currently discounted.

I do not collect in this scale, but my guess is no one will do them in a smaller one. So I guess I will have to buy them.

I might have to jump on these. Took them long enough to bring these out, i recall seeing them in last year's SDCC sneak peak

Really looking forward to these. Maybe I'll buy the other Firehouse pieces on eBay since I don't really want the movie stuff. Give us Samhain!

I may get these, but I have been a bit disappointed in the line for different reasons. The second wave's figures lacked in facial detail, and the bendy wires on the figures and proton packs are way too fragile.

I've been waiting on the Real Ghostbusters for a long time. Back when we couldn't convince Mattel to offer TRGB as variants to their line. What I'd really like to see is if Diamond Select could make some of their best ghost villains. I'd love to see the Boogieman, Sandman, or Samhain.

Awesome to see we finally get new Real GhostBusters Action Figures!
These look fantastic! If the final product has the same face sculpts, then we are golden!

YES! Those ghost villains are a must!

I recently ordered the rest of the Diamond Select Toys GhostBusters waves 3 thru 7 and pre-ordered wave 8 (due for September 2018) at BBTS. I love to complete the Rooftop Diorama and start the Firehouse Facade. That's the main reason I buy them because the figures themselves are ok but the face sculpts are not very good imo...
I might replace the DST GB's for Mezco's One:12 Ghostbusters.
I do love the fact we get figures from DST which Mattel failed to make like Janine Melnitz, GB2 Louis Tully, Dr. Janosz Poha, and Baby Oscar.
I kept the Terror Dogs and Slimer from NECA since they look so good. I have a difficult time deciding if I should let go of the DST ones since I sill like the NECA figures so much.

I can't wait until these get released. The Roof Top series of figures were a great mix of secondary characters, ghosts, and Ghostbusters. The Fire House series has been a lot of the same. Unfortunately Diamond doesn't seem to have the rights to the ghosts of the 2nd movie. The Real Ghostbusters figures will be a nice way to mix it up.
