TRON! Great shoot Joe
These look like the TRON toys I have been waiting for since 1982. Bummer for the build-a-Recognizer but the price drop is more than welcome: the set of 3 figures went from 105 CAD to 80 CAD for me so yay. I'll have to hunt that blue Flynn figure though. I really hope Diamond green lights more figures in the future and, why not, same scale lightcycles

If they need to get some mileage out of a few of the molds, they can easily do a second Sark with the split open head and shattered disc. I'd like to see Rom, Yori, one of the guards, and Clu. Light Cycles would be welcome, as would a positive and negative Bit.

By the way, I really like your background Joe. What is it? Computer screen? Printout?

I'd buy all of these for sure. And if Diamond ever takes the Legacy road, I'd buy all figures from that too.

Same here. But I think the support needs to be there for Series 1 first. But good Tron Legacy figures would be awesome to have, especially if they found a way to get a Daft Punk pair in there.

Very nice set. Thank you, DST! I'm particularly happy with the sculpt for Sark.

"The reason I didn’t list that under the “Cons” section is that we’ve never even seen the Recognizer."
I just wanted to point out that Diamond Select did release an image of the buildable Recognizer: Great pics as always though. These figures look great, I just wish they were as small as the Kingdom Hearts figures and the Westworld figures as they fit in with the NECA McFarlane 7" scale for my shelf. |

How come all the DST stuff seems to be pushing more of an 8” scale recently? I really want some of their figures as complements to my NECA and McFarlane 7” figures, but they’re becoming too big to fit in.

DST could make a parrallel TRON line focusing on vehicles like this one, in scale with each other maybe.

In the pic of Tron in box, it looks like there's a hand missing?

Yeah it's not great is it? XD I would still like them to release a Recognizer, maybe in a vehicle pack with a little Lightcycle and a tank?

I said this on the other thread, but they maybe should should have done Tron, Sark and Guard wave 1, then Flynn, Ram and Yori wave 2. Ram could easily reuse the same buck as Tron / Flynn - so he wouldn't need any tooling. Guard could use the same buck too, as the Guards in the film just had like a 'cover' thing and gauntlets. Yori would need a new buck. Ram and Yori would have disc accessories - Guard would need a staff. They could still do it. |

Hey Joe, any idea on when your photos of The Black Hole figures will be up? Mine were supposed to arrive today, but USPS screwed up. I'd sure like to see them!

They're just starting to hit now. And holy shit, Maximillian has an alternate head with Reindhart inside...! Looks like he has light piping too, which I don't think I noticed that on the figure before.

I wish I knew what was going on with these. EBay has some listings in stock, Entertainment Earth have them in stock, BBTS still has nothing, and they only have the 'set' listed for The Black Hole figures and Rocketeer combined whereas EE have them both separate and combined.
Maybe this is a 'Made in China' issue causing some delays... |

BBTS might not get them in stock for a while. I ended up cancelling my preorder with them for the KH Tron figures and getting them through Amazon instead and noticed BBTS didn't get their stock in for a couple of months after they were initially released. So if you want them anytime soon, don't wait on BBTS maybe.
I actually did cancel my BBTS preorder for the Blackhole figures (was never really thrilled about having to buy the Rocketeer figure I didn't want) and bought Max on eBay, should be here soon. |

EE was sold out of the single VINCent and BOB pack but still had the case with Rockateer available so I just bit the bullet and paid for the case (it's basically throwing Rockateer in for an extra $15) ....My set should be here today or tomorrow.
