Hey all, thechris back again for some more crazy Eternian Idol action. For those who followed Round 1, you may already know that Jitsu tied with Two-Bad and as a result, a Sudden Death poll will be held over a course of 3 days. Well, it's time for Round 2 and we have some cool characters to pick from here. It may be harder than you think. While Ram Man may be an obvious choice, we also have the epic Mosquitor. We have Mantenna, the final big name member of the Horde and Modulok, be he Horde member or Evil Warrior? Perhaps he's both! 1000 figures in one! He's MO-DU-LOK!!!
Round 1 Winner... it's a draw!!! Jitsu - The evil Asian inspired counterpart to Fisto Two-Bad - Cool looking two headed evil warrior. Coming soon: Round 2 Mantenna - Evil googly eyed Peeping Tom of the Horde. Ram Man - "Headstrong" heroic warrior of Eternia and a heavy favourite to win Round 2 Modulok - After picking up his vintage figure last week, this could well be my major want this round, we'll see... Sssqueeze - Put the sssqueeze on your classics collection with this amply appendaged reptile. Snake Face - Um... ewww... Strongarm - Somebody's been working that right arm... Castaspella - Sultry spellbinder of Etheria and huge favourite among POP fans, too bad there aren't really any on the Ark. LOL. Mosquitor - This guy really sucks! Yeah, I bet you didn't see that coming... Never heard THAT one before... Scorpia - Evil force captain of the Horde with hideous scorpion tail and pincers... Fang Man - Rumoured to be the precursor to the Snakemen, this cool looking character from the FILMATION series had the ability to control lizards a la Beastman, this includes DRAGONS! Round 3 Glimmer Rattlor Tung Lashor Captain Sea Hawk Queen Angela Octavia Extendar Batros Rio Blast Icer Last edited by Joe Moore; 03-26-2012 at 04:53 AM.. |

Hard choice, as there is a lot of Snake Warriors in round two. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see more Snake Men but my vote goes to Ram Man as there should of been a figure of him long ago.

IMO, the two important snakemen are in Round 3, Tung Lashor and Rattlor. Just waiting to see if one of the Mods can fix my poll. LOL.

I want all the Snake Men made, but as I said, Ram Man deserves it.

I imagine he'll be the short stubby Ram Man of the FILMATION series as opposed to the huge hulking Ram Man of 200x. My guess is he'll have no action features which would be fine with me as I always favour articulation over action features.

Man, Ram Man is going to be badass but can you imagine an updated Modulok figure??? LOL. I've been having oodles of fun with my vintage one that I picked up at the Antique Mall.

Damn. This round is going to be almost completely unfair. I mean Modulok is in this round. I want to vote Mantenna since I love the Horde...But...MODULOK!
Ram Man is another long time favorite. This one will be tough for me. |

Turns out I had to make a new one. No problem. If there's any way to merge the two, that'd be great. Get your votes in, folks, and if you haven't cast your vote between Two-Bad and Jitsu yet, please do so before tomorrow!

Everything looks like it's all fixed up, so let's get to voting!
I've fired the first shot and picked Ram Man, who's original figure was the 3rd MOTU I ever owned (after He-Man and Skeletor). But if I could pick three, Modulok and Mantenna would certainly get the other two slots.

Mantenna, Ram Man, Modulok, Sssqueeze, Strongarm, Mosquitor, Fang Man all deserve my vote for different reasons... this is going to be very hard to choose. To me, Sssqueeze easily trumps Snake Face, the uglieset figure in the entire line. Fang Man and Strongarm are two FILMATION characters who I always wanted to see a toy for. Mosquitor would be awesome, especially if they managed to integrate SOME form of blood pumping action feature like the vintage figure.

I think I've got to go with my man Modulok, I just got his vintage figure a few days ago and it's definitely hard to put down. I usually just pose my figures and leave them on the desk or shelf for ages, but Modulok is one toy that I can see that I may actually play with.

I went with Snake Face. Just because the vintage figure looks fucking scary, I couldn't imagine how amazing the MOTUC would look like.

^^ Man, that figure was and still continues to be one of the most hideous looking things I've ever seen in my life. LOL.
Okay, Modulok gets my vote. |

So we're voting for #1 figure we want off the list. This is a tough one. But I have to go with...
Castaspella ...rally I doo. Scorpia was a close second. We need mo' Filmation POP.

^^ My guess is when he does, he won't look too different from the 200x version you have displayed there.

Probably... the 200x one is a pretty nice fill-in, but he's a serious statue. I'm really looking forward to see what they come up with for him. I have a feeling he'll be a little larger than the regular figures.. they said he'd probably take up a quarterly beast spot.

Yeah, I'm hoping he'll somewhat LOOK like Ram Man 200x, but is shorter in stature like the classic. The old one looked cool for it's time but is seriously dated. 200x's version looks very similar but with the kind of detailing that doesn't appear too extreme like the other 200x Heroic Warriors. I'm really hoping he doesn't take up a beast spot, either, because that would really ruin it for me scale-wise. Heck, I'd say of all the 200x characters, other than his height, he was one of the least "bastardized".

One more day to get all your votes in, folks. LOL, It looks like it's going to be Ram Man and Jitsu in Round 4, though.
