Awesome! Well... Sorta. I really only collect 4" so the characters I will probably not get but Goliath? Oh yeah, He's gonna be snack'n on my figures. Because he's that size just makes him more intimidating to my collection and I can't wait to set up some photo-shoots of him and my Joes'.

The Goliath legacy looks good but why bother making him so small in a 6 inch line?? I might get him just to be a creature for something else. Hank would be the only one I would want just to fit into my Gears of War figures as Dizzy :-) And man is Maggie fugly, maybe if I want to make a new Gozer for some Ghostbusters or something.

Huh, while I'm happy for fans of this game that they're getting Legacy figures of the franchise, personally, it seems like another head-scratcher to me.
Of all of the licences that Funko has the rights to, I can't quite fathom why they would choose Magic the Gathering, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Book of Life, and now Evolve, to carry on the Legacy line. Game of Thrones was a great choice for the first series, but the rest seem like odd choices to me. I guess Magic has a huge built-in fan base, and Mr. Fox kinda makes sense since Wes Anderson's films have a huge cult following, but it seems to me that these would have made sense later on, after the Legacy series had firmly established itself as a contender in the field of collectible figures. Oh well, that's just me ranting because I'm eager to finally get some news on the Firefly Legacy figures . On the bright side, all these other Legacy figures have given Funko extra time and practice to make the Firefly Legacy figures absolutely amazing.

In a way, it's cool that they're trying to be different with there 6" figure lines. I just don't see any series that's a real hit yet. As much as like Game of Thrones, they're slowly becoming peg warmers. With all the good 6" and 7" figure rights of popular characters are gobbled up, Funko has a long road ahead. I personally would like to see them make a Jaws Legacy line. Now they have the property. Quint, Brody, Hooper, and Jaws of course. That would be really cool. Something that hasn't been done, but it's a huge property. Long overdue for figures. |

I will agree in hoping that Funko continues to improve their stuff. Comparing the Magic and GoT series 2 to GoT series 1 shows they're making progress.

These dudes look awesome. I've been beta testing the game on pc for about 4 months now, and I'm definitely stoked to pick these up.

A line of modern, posable figures with diverse characters like Snake Plissken, John McClane, Sam from Trick R Treat, Michael Myers, The Rocketeer, etc... would be amazing. (It's too bad NECA abandoned the idea, especially with all the progress they've made with the articulation of their figures.) It would also be a great way to add latecomers and additional figures to Funko's preceding Legacy lines.

Yeah, I'd love the occasional Legacy wave that had random line-ups like the old Movie Maniacs and Cult Classics had !

The figures look like they're 4" scale, Goliath being 6"... If not, yeesh... Goliath ain't bad but without a poseable neck/head or ab crunch, he's pretty limited. The hunters aren't very appealing and they can't even hold their weapons properly. NECA's way ahead of this. The GoT figures are more like the toybiz LoTR line than high quality collectibles... Not to mention the cringe worthy price tags for these things where I live. Clocks in around $29.00 after taxes.

With a little work, that Val could turn into a nice Daisy Johnson.

Hey, the Magic figures weren't that bad. Not great or particularly good, but alright. As a fan and player of magic I had some bias into liking them, but as toys on their own, alright.

I think these look pretty cool. I don't know jack about the game, but I could see myself picking up that Val figure to make a custom movie style Maria Hill if I can't find the TRU exclusive 3-pack. That dude in the silver and red armor could make a cool Cyborg figure since the DC Collectibles version has such limited articulation. And that Goliath monster looks pretty sick.
I've seen the GOT figures marked down to $20 and the Magic figures marked down to $10 at some Targets in KC. The painted and sculpted details are really good on most of them and the articulation is pretty decent. I just wish I could think of custom figures to make out of them. also, I can't wait for them to do a line of Firefly/Serenity figures! |

Skyrim, Fallout, Evolve, etc. I'm more stoked about the fallout figures than anything coming out from any other toy company right now.

I noticed today that one of the Targets in my area has lowered the price of the GoT Legacy figures to 9.99 and the Magic: The Gathering figure to 7.99
From the looks of it, these are their new, official prices, as there was nothing to indicate that they were "clearance" figures. I'm not sure if this is a local/regional thing, or if it's nationwide, but either way, I just hope that this is Target's way of making space for the upcoming Legacy figures, and not a sign that Target is losing faith in the line.
