Ditto in the categories, I only buy double of Prime stuff, and have finally started to open them up and quite enjoying them as well. Marvel though I keep that suckered sealed only because it looks great with the card art and the horror stories I've read regarding QC I wouldn't want that high end MU figure I bought cause it was super rare and it ends up popping out the joints

Not to derail things but...what in the good Lords name is the appeal of that show? I worked for a school district for 6 years and the high schoolers swore that was the funniest show ever. Any time I flick through channels and see that show on I witness, what I think, is the inside of a meth abuser's head. Not trying to diss anybody that finds that funny but seriously, what was funny about that? Lol, Im 33 and finally starting to feel like the old head in the room. *sigh*

MOC retains the highest resell value. You are likely to get your original investment back plus more in most cases. But there are always revisions, remakes etc that take away from the original value. I don't keep much MOC, or hang onto packaging. I keep comics from ML and MU figures. I've used the cutouts for ironman, marvel legends etc to stick on my displays. I would keep a lot MOC and be like solidsnakeinmypants and have an amazing wall to wall room of MOC ML's... but I don't want to get bankrupt or be featured on an episode of hoarders. Main reason I don't collect MOC is price!! Sellers on here and ebay ask way more because its MOC/MIB compaired to loose. I'd rather pay $8 for a IM figure + 5 to ship, then $20 moc and $25 to ship.
I'm working on finishing the Ironman movie collection, I have about 55% of it, the ones I'm missing are rare, hard to find items, and they look sweet MOC, but tempted to open. I have the walmart/target exclusives and damn that exclusive tag looks sexy lol. |
