Um....these are some really freaking awesome display sets. I believe the stairs are real? Not just a backdrop? I’m hoping they get some of these to you quick so we can see some set-ups. I’m not sure I have space.......I know I don’t have space, but I want about 4 or 5 of these. Plus I still want the cave set. I have the cabin, and it’s one of the most impressive items I own.

They've gotten much more elaborate over the years. The stairs are fully functional now.

I think these look great but, they seem pretty expensive for cardboard. Joe, what do think? Are they worth the duckets?

They're huge, much larger than you probably realize, and they do look really good when photographing them with figures, as I use them in most photo shoots. I don't think the price is too bad, especially the $50 ones. Once you get in the $65+ range, it will depend on how you plan to use it, and if you have the space.

The one thing to be wary of, as I've had it happen to a few, is warping. The floors tend to have the biggest issues. I have to keep them under a heavy weight to keep them flattened.

They're making display packs for 1/12 scale now instead of just 1/6. Those are what I want, just a background and floor to display figures on.

They've always done 1/12 scale. Their newer additions are 1/18 scale. I don't think they've ever done 1/6 scale, those would be massive.

I'd say they're decent for being cardboard. I've only bought 1 set in 1:18 scale (alley something or other) and feel I overpaid for printed cardboard. But I'm a creative person and could easily make my own sets with actual detail...so keep that in mind.

For those not artistically inclined, if you use/pose or photog toys these are well worth the money. If you might buy consider, along with the aforementioned warping, damage to just about every exposed edge is virtually guaranteed. (Edit: Not to say they arrive damaged, but after 1 assembly and dis-assembly edge damage was immediate. It's cardboard...) So if that is something that might irk you after dropping 50 something dollars, then you might want to take a pass.

Well that's the kicker, anyone could probably spend the effort to make their own displays at a much cheaper price, but a lot of people don't have the talent let alone the free time to do that.

I mean I want a mansion display or a subway display, but you know, life. I don't have the time to make own let alone to hone my skills at making dioramas, so I think for the price versus the time saved it's worth it to give their sets a try.

Seriously tempted by the Castle Dungeon. I've been looking for decent backdrops for some old NECA Castlevania figures.

I did buy the 1/12th Cabin Display for my Evil Dead figures.

Though I did PO this for my Simon Belmont

The display packs are different than the regular scenes. They're only walls and floors and meant for cube type displays according to their pictures. The first sets were listed at 1/6 scale but the new ones are the exact same size and listed at 1/12 scale, so...I don't really know.

Yeah these are designed to fit in detolfs right? I finally caved in and ordered the 2 Transformers ones. I wish they'd do a sewer diorama designed for detolfs too for TMNT figures.

Caved and went with another ver 2.0 not-Teletraan-1 for the ER line (bough t the earlier release), and the Dungeon for alucard and Dracula for Castlevania.
