Hi guys, Iv recently stumbled on this site due to me being a huge fan of marvel Universe 3'' figures. I only recently found out that there is actually a section for customs. Iv been doing customs for about a year so I have a few to show, most of which are Mighty Muggs & all my customs are hand painted. Iv seen a few customs on here that are VERY impressive! I hope you guys like my art & I definitly look forward to hearing what you guys think.
Below are pictures of some of my custom 3 inch Vinly Aggression, Some Custom Mighty Muggs, and a Custom Iron Patriot from the marvel Universe 3''line (more or less a re-paint) Last edited by Superquad7; 10-20-2009 at 11:00 PM.. |

Dude, all of those are good but the Power Rangers Mighty Muggs take the cake!
Is that Deadpool any different from the one that is coming out? Looks spot on. |

Scarecrow got it right. Those Power Rangers look legit. All of these are great, but the PRs look like official releases. Great job on all of these.
I really like the Hawkeye but the the paint thickness kind of bothers me a little. Sometimes that can work for you, but not really in this case. What kind of paint are you using? I don't mean to offend, just giving my opinion. I really do like them all. |

^ No its ok dude, one thing I should point out though is that the VA's which Hawkeye is are about 2 inches big, so there very small and close up the paint does look thick, but to the normal naked eye, its kinda too small to see lol, so its gotta be thick. Im not sure if you know that about VA's but it may alter your oppinion, if not than its fine, I completly understand lol.
The paint I use is from the Games Workshop, its there brand of paint. Thankyou for the reply! |

I've done some small characters before and I found that on the designer-type toys (with simple, rounded shapes) gouache paint works really well. The paint goes on smooth and flat and dries completely even. You'll need to coat it with something afterwards, though. Keep up the great work. |

Man, I wanted to add another thought here. After looking over your work again I wanted to say that you really captured the look and feel of the Mighty Muggs. I've seen a lot of custom Muggs that are cool but they don't really capture the essence of the designs like yours do. If you placed them next to official Muggs I'd have a hard time picking the custom.

I didnt think the Power Rangers would go over as big as they have but I actually did 2 other series of them for the same guy who bought the 1st. I added them to the top of the first page along with a few other of my past muggs. Thankyou again to everyone who commented, I appreciate it 100% Last edited by F1sh1000; 09-12-2009 at 02:40 PM.. |

I'm digging that dragonzord too. Kinda like to see your take on DragonZord 'guardian mode' with the staff.
