I just wanted to get your guys' take on this. I think BAF figures, for the most part, are awesome. I am (sadly) selling off ML BAF Galactus to make room for (and partially fund) the new MU Galactus.
I currently have Apocalypse (9/10), Sentinel (10/10), Sandman (7/10), Imperiex (7/10), and Atom Smasher (5/10). The (/10) is just my rough review of the figures. I also have Chemo coming in the mail and am considering Despero, Trigon, and Fin Fang Foom. You'll notice that I go for the larger figures as I mainly collect 3.75" figures. Any tips? Advice? Personal favorites (I'm considering Ares and Kilowog even though there are not in scale with my collection)? |

I don't have any BAF figures say for Solomon Grundy, but I only have the arms and legs (still hoping to find torso) but yeah I think those figures are really impressive for their size. Comparing them to the ol' 12" MARVEL figures that came out back in the 90's, the line is more complex and unique in who comes out. I'd like to see that collection you got of BAF figures though and good luck on the Galactus.....

The three I have are Apocalypse, Sentinel and Galactus. Of those, my favorite would have to be the Sentinel. I always wanted Fin Fang Foom, but never saw She-Hulk even once in stores and didn't want to spend forever tracking one down on Ebay, so I kind of gave up on BAFs altogether after that.
They were fun to get at first, but I got tired of getting figures I didn't really want just to complete the BAF (which I guess was the point, from a marketing perspective). Still, they're great figures once you complete them.

I have a complete sentinel which is awesome and a left leg for another, even the legs are awesome for displaying, and if you knew you couldn't complete one some sculpy clay mixed with some cheap cut up pieces of wire makes for a nice display piece aka wolverine ripping the guts out. I have a complete apocalypse, but he's been customized into a giant Iron Man figure *will post pics sometime, and I have another head piece of apocalypse, the head of galactus, and an arm piece of modok, I'm currently in the process of buy another collector's collection and he's giving me a complete apocalypse and a complete mojo, along with some odd pieces for baf's so awesome. I recently met a local collector who has a massive collection he has almost all the baf's, fing fang foom, sentinel, mojo, blob, apocalypse, galactus, etc I must say seeing the blob in person gives me a lot more appreciation for the figure he's massive, so much better then the mu figure, and fing fang foom is a huge figure.

As for everyone else's comments, y'all seem to be big on Foom. Now if I can only find his freakin' head for a reasonable price. $40 for one piece is NOT reasonable |

I haven't delved into the Green Lantern classics yet (because they haven't shown up over here D: ) but I really like how Steel looks.

Did you mean Stel? Yea he does look really good and one of the best DC BAF imo.
I've only got sentinel and apocalpyse and they are both great. Sentinel is my favorite and im still looking at getting the giant man which also looks like a solid BAF.

Yeah lol, my bad. I have half of Galactus and Half of a Sentinel and the texture is unbelievable. Maybe if I had either finished I'd vote them up.
