Hi all. I've been working on (with the help of many collectors around the world) a master collector's checklist called "Toy Collector" - I'm far enough along (19,801 items!) that I've released it to the App Store (link: Toy Collector) but it is certainly still a work in progress. I'd love to get some feedback and suggestions (not to mention assistance updating existing lines or adding new ones). If you are interested and get a chance, download it and let me know what you think (there are email and twitter links in the app)
Thanks for taking the time to read this, Zack side-note - I'm just a hobbyist programmer, so it won't have the professional look you might expect from a corporate programming company. I'm just working on this when my kids are asleep and my wife is watching Food Network... |

I've tried it. I like it.
Some suggestions: 1) maybe a centralized way of sharing across IOS platforms? Currently I have it on my iPad and iPhone. I have to select the figures I own individually on 2 platforms. Maybe if u can allow upload of the database of figures owned to google drive or Dropbox etc? 2) maybe allow cancellation of downloads midway if the number of pictures is a lot? Great effort! Keep up the great work! |

1) Yes, definitely. I am currently working on an iCloud backup/download procedure that will enable you to copy data between devices.
2) Great idea. I'll look into that right away. Seems simple enough, perhaps I can implement that sooner rather than later Thanks! Zack Quote:

Okay. 1.0.4 will enable a cancel button while downloading images. It won't make it into 1.0.3 because that version has already been submitted to Apple. I'm thinking 1.0.3 should be live by Thanksgiving, and then I can push 1.0.4, so hopefully by December 1st the cancel option will be live.
Thanks again for the suggestion. I really appreciate it. I'll be working on the backup/sync feature soon. Zack |

You can now cancel the download with a tap Also, a bunch more figures. Any feedback would be appreciated. Zack Quote:

Working on 1.0.4 and I'm adding New Adventures of He-Man and Batman: The Animated Series. I have a source for the Batman images but am still looking for one for New adventures. Any ideas?

Okay, starting to fill in the smaller 6" lines: 1.1.7 added a bunch, and 1.1.8 is adding quite a few more... imageless for now, but hopefully I'll be able to start uploading some images as well... if anyone is interested in helping, let me know
