Man I complain about Mafex prices enough but Figma are ridiculous. If this and their video game stuff were half the price I'd buy all of them.
How is this $100?! |

And the mini figs aren't even painted. I'd buy just the bug for about $60 but this price point seems absurdly steep.

I am entertained by their specifying which entry in the series this is from as if it doesn't look like every other Warrior Bug.

Those uniforms look like the video game/animation version, not the movie....booooo.
Its too much like acid rain, not that theres anything wrong with acid rain, come to think of it they probably did that on purpose. Also it says, "Power Suit miniature figures pictured were painted for the purpose of taking product photos. Actual product will vary." Technically they may still paint them it just might look different??? Damn, I was really looking forward to this. I'll try my best to buy it still. So wish this baby was 1/12 scale. |

Looks like they did a good job with molds and articulation for the bug figure, but yeah, the colors are all wrong for a cinematic bug, and I'm too lazy to repaint.
It would be amazing if somebody did recognizable figures of Casper Van Dien, Micheal Ironside and others as they appeared in the original movie, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm still waiting for QMX to release cinematic Nimoy Spock in his burgundy Starfleet uniform... Last edited by Skoob; 01-31-2020 at 03:35 AM.. |
