They've been around for awhile, a few years already I think. Came out around the same time as the Revoltech Frauleins. There was a brief "format war" between these two lines there, seeing as they offered articulated (mostly female) figures out of Japan, which was a rather rare thing. Figma's totally won that "war" though, on account of being simply superior to Revoltech Frauleins. Apologies to Fraulein collectors but alas, it is true. In terms of sculpt ('cause Fraulein tend to be chubby), durability & articulation (Figma fall apart less and joints are more conventional) and as of now, character selection (granted, Fraulein seems all but abandoned these days). |

Ah, also, price-wise, they tend to range in the 2500 to 3000 yen mark. That's before the auto-discounts from places like AmiAmi or the shipping costs though. Naturally, some characters are more expensive on the aftermarket. The original Miku Hatsune, Saber, Drossel and Black Rock Shooter seem to have the highest mark up, at least where I am. Billy Herrington is alas, somewhat hard to find for an agreeable price. |

does anyone have any trusted sellers of figmas? I got some on ebay but the quality was very bad and they broke right out of the box :/ they were the BRS figmas
I've really been wanting to get the To Ar Majutsu figmas for foreverrrrr but I'm scared to make another purchase. Any help would be most appreciated. |

Have any of you picked up Figma Sakura Kinomoto? If so, have you had trouble changing her expression?
I'm assuming you remove the front hairpiece, but mine is stuck fast, and the instructions don't give any information about it. I can't tell whether I've got the right idea but the joint is stuck, or if I'm doing it wrong. Edit/Update You do, indeed, remove the front hair piece, it just requires a scary amount of force.
