Check out Sandtroopers.com's shots of some awesome looking, soon-to-be-released Phantom Menace vehicles and multi-packs! Look for these on shelves in early 2012, just in time for the 3D release of The Phantom Menace!!!

While the packaging design is very spiffy and eye-catching, what the hell is going on with the archaic sculpts and hinge articulation for EVERYTHING, are we seriously not going to get any more good "ball-hinge" hip/leg jointed figures? (ala the badass "Endor Capture Luke" from the vintage line) Damn it hasbro.... :/

I agree. I'm not really impressed with any of this personally. In fact it feels like I've pretty much got all this stuff already. And I'm still not 100% sure why we're back to Darth Maul for the artwork on a line that spans movies beyond Ep I. So far the only thing in recent news I'm really excited about are the Ep I vintage-style figures, mainly just for the cards so all my shelves will finally tie together.
