Very excited by Star Trek. Need a cre for my Diamon Select figures and love what I've picked up already.

Awesome, count me in for the Star Trek figures. Hopefully if these sell well enough, they'll expand and do some DS9 figures.

Hopefully they start putting photos of the characters/actors on all of the Reaction cards. That makes all the difference to me. Looking forward to Trek (no DS9!?) and Breaking Bad figs. Here's hoping for Gus, Skylar, Mike, and Tuco.

are people actually buying these pop funko vinyl figures?.. i see them everywhere in large quantities, but i never see them selling.. maybe they're restocking them quickly, or maybe people in my area aren't buying them, or maybe they're just ordering them online, but i just don't see it.

I really hope we get a Bruce (maybe with Qunit stuck in his teeth) and an Orca (though I don't have high expectations for that). All of this stuff is supposed to be on display at Toy Fair in February.

Also, I'm a Pop collector as well. I have most of the Walking Dead ones. I have the TMNT, MOTU, Big Lebowski, Thundercats.

I always see plenty of the vinyls in the stores that stock them, but the stock seems to always be shifting. I have to admit that, while I've been interested in them, I have not yet bought any. I would have gotten the Star Trek ones if they had done Bones. Well, I would have at least gotten him and Scotty. That said, I'm planning on getting Riker. I would plan on getting Worf too, but I'm kinda hoping they eventually do some based on DS9.

So it sounds like they will be doing Bruce the shark from Jaws.

That's some excellent news - my first thought upon seeing they were doing Jaws was, "shark please!" I'm really excited for Classic Trek too, I think those costumes and alien designs will translate beautifully to the ReAction style.

I was hoping that Funko was going to release some sort of announcement about the upcoming Legacy waves
I'm eagerly anticipating the Firefly Legacy figures, and I'm curious to hear what else Funko has planned. From what I've heard, Funko has made progress since the release of the first wave of their Game of Thrones Legacy figures. Apparently, the newer ones (like the Magic: The Gathering figures) don't have the same terrible QC issues that the first wave of Game of Thrones Legacy figures had. I hope that the reportedly poor sales for the Book of Life Legacy figures hasn't caused Funko to reconsider future Legacy waves. Last edited by Frank Richards; 12-11-2014 at 08:30 PM.. |

I'm definitely excited about the Star Trek figures. And Gremlins. I hope the quality is closer to that of the monsters, horror series and Alien figures and not that of Firefly or Back to the Future.

They are not really my thing. I bought one Sharknado POP to get autographed by Ian Ziering. But that is it. I like the idea of the ReAction line but the card backs are too flimsy and it is hard to find them in good condition. I would like to see what they do with the Star Trek TNG line though

Same here
When the Legacy series was first announced, I remember thinking that this line was going to be a game-changer in the same way that Marvel Legends were. However, I can't help but feel disappointed by what I've experienced and heard so far. Hopefully, this line will gain some momentum when Funko starts producing figures from a wider variety of franchises, like they're doing with the ReAction line. Maybe then, and if the QC issues have been addressed, more people will take notice and seriously start backing this line.

I also hope that Legacy picks up steam soon. I've been utterly disappointed with either the license choices (Book of Life, Magic The Gathering) or the quality (Game of Thrones). With Funko's history of broad license selection, I was really hoping to see a few classic licenses finally get decent figures. Some of the recent ReAction and Pop Vinyl license announcements would make great Legacy figures (Big Trouble in Little China, Star Trek, Dark Crystal).

Man , it would be great if they could do Legacy figures of Big Trouble in Little China. Even better if they could get the 5th Element as a license!!!

Just the thought that there is a possibility (no matter how miniscule) that we could potentially see Legacy figures of Big Trouble in Little China, Escape from New York, Back to the Future, and Star Trek, all along with the currently planned Firefly figures, is VERY exciting. I hope Funko manages to pull this off !

The Battlestar Galactica vinyls should be interesting. Though I hope they're also able to do ReAction and/or Legacy figures too.
