Maybe I missed something, but did Funko reveal any new products at SDCC this year ?
I guess they were too busy selling all of those SDCC exclusive POP figures, lol. I was hoping to see what they have planned for the Legacy series, especially since they haven't released any pics of what will be following the upcoming Evolve figures.

They only had a sales booth (which had a massive line). No new reveals, no panel.

That's a shame
The lack of Legacy Collection announcements has me concerned about the future of the line, especially since Funko had previously been so vocal about upcoming waves.

Haven't heard anything. The line isn't moving at all in my area. Every Barnes in the area is packed with them. Target stocked the Magic the Gathering ones and they wound up putting them on clearance after awhile.

Unfortunately, the same is true in my area.
No one is buying the GoT or Magic figures, even when they're marked down to $10. The Movie Stop in my area even has the Book of Life figures, but they obviously aren't selling, since no one seems to have even seen the movie, lol. I had assumed that the Firefly and Rocketeer figures were going to revitalize the line, and while they're selling well in my area, they aren't exactly flying off the shelves.

They do seem to sell around here, though, if slowly, and certain characters much more quickly than others. Wave 2 of GoT was definitely way more popular than Wave 1, Jaime Lannister and Khal Drogo in particular. Robb, Arya, and Brienne weren't far behind. |

Agree 100% on the poor QC of the first releases. Every reviewer, just about, had problems. It's the exact reason I bought zero Game of Thrones figures. I may still grab the Rocketeer.
Also, some poor licensing choices definitely hurt. Book of Life, Fantastic Mr. Fox & Magic the Gathering (though those ones looked cool) just were baffling choices for something they were touting to go against Black Series figures. Everyone wanted Firefly and Rocketeer, and those took forever to get made.

Just for reference - Funko inside was a retail store, and massive lines, so we didn't cover it.
Funko did have some kind of off-site pop-up store, but we were unable to check it out. I do apologize for that. They may have had something in there new, or it could just have been a hype spot. I haven't had time yet to go checking around to verify. |

Funko line was just ridiculous. They kept saying come back on a particular time. But the line was always capped.

I also think Funko overestimated Firefly and Rocketeer's popularity, but it's too early to truly say. They both only have cult followings. They've been out for a couple of weeks in my area and they don't appear to be selling too well. Either the cult following behind them isn't strong in my area or people are still scared from GoT wave 1.

I was hoping to hear something on the fallout figures they announced, but it seems like no toy news site covered them at all.

After finally picking up Mal today, and completing my Firefly line-up, I think that I may feel somewhat differently about the potential end of the Legacy line.
While I'm upset that we may not be getting the Back to the Future, Big Trouble in Little China, and Supernatural figures that had been hinted/rumored/speculated, I'm relieved that I won't have to roll the dice on any new potentially problematic figures from Funko. My first five Firefly figures were great, and while my first Rocketeer had serious issues, the second one that I bought was fine. I now realize that I was lucky with my first purchases. Mal had some issues, and while they were fixable, the sort of recurring problems that so many of us have experienced with our Legacy figures so far is just inexcusable. At this point, I wouldn't even care if the Legacy line just kinda faded away, since Funko just can't seem to get their act together when it comes to QC.
