Hopefully we'll get a 616 Cap in the upcoming Comic Packs.

Whoa, look at all that detail at that scale! I am a big fan of the Ultimates(until vol. 3), and I always digged how this costume looked more realistic. I'm impressed by the chain mail textures.

I could've gone for a more stern expression, but man alive this fig kicks more ass than Cap's boot does Nazis. This absolutely destroys that Showdown pile of crap.
/And I think Prof Erskine was German, so the Serum would qualify as Nazi science, lolz! |

I love the figure, but I really wish it wasn't the "Ultimates" version... I would much prefer that Ultimates characters be relegated to a separate line.
The grey and lack of head wings kind of ruins this fig for me. But I'm sure we'll get the regular version soon enough... |

I don't like the head on the Ultimate version of Cap because he doesn't have those lil wings on his mask. I hope the comic pack Secret Wars version has them.

Man, I was hoping to not like this line enough to buy some, but Cap here is too sweet to pass up. Drats, I hear my wallet screaming in agony.

This cap is pretty sick, but I'll have to wait for the 616 version.. Yes, the wings matter.

How does these marvel figures (at this size), size up with the DC figures that are out of the similar size?... are they dead on the same?.. Playable & mixable without any notice?

I don't own any DC figs, but I'd say these are probably a bit bigger. Do you have any GI Joes? Those would be a great comparison, as the Marvel figs are in scale with those, if not slightly smaller(?)

The DC figures are noticeably smaller, but not by much. Also, the Marvel Universe figures are a little bulkier.

The DCIH figs run about half-a-head shorter than the current trend in 18th figs (Joes and now MUs and WOs) altho they're about equal with SW and Indy figs. The inter-mixability is about the same as mixing vintage SW figs with RAH Joes, i.e. the DCIH figs suck for playability in comparison.

ok, stupid second question about these (because I'm just now learning & seeing them)...
why is there 2 punisher fig's? I noticed that there is a paint diff on his boots, belt, and gloves - and there is a diff head on one... is one worth more than the other collectorwise? Just saw them tonight at local walmart.

uhm, yeah - pretty sure I was physically standing there.. LOL
But what is the diff between the two? And why did they make two of them? They looked about the same height ... just like I said the paint diff and the diff head. Wassup wit dat?
