Earlier this year, Toys R Us offered a few exclusives from GI Joe Rise Of Cobra which were some of the 1st items to bear the Pursuit Of Cobra title. One of these items was Arctic Threat Doc. While some of you may be occupied trying to find GI Joe Pursuit Of Cobra Wave 1, there may be some of you on the fence debating whether or not to pick up Doc(Arctic Threat).

The GI Joe Pursuit Of Cobra line currently(and for the foreseeable future) lacks female figures, but it wasn't always meant to be this way. Last year, Hasbro revealed a new version of Scarlett with a mix of new parts; City Strike Scarlett. Featuring a glider pack and melee weapons, this was a rather unique version of Scarlett. It was supposed to come with tonfa swords; were these also planned for a Final Battle Snake Eyes figure?
One notable wish fans have mentioned, is the desire for female figures in the Pursuit Of Cobra line. They are a noticeable exception. Could Scarlet(City Strike) be saved for release next year, possibly as a retailer exclusive? Who knows. Until then, hit the discuss button to see how it turned out! |

The Wrap has announced that director Stephen Sommers will return to direct GI Joe 2, sequel to his GI Joe Rise Of Cobra movie from last year. In addition, they have also reported that Channing Tatum will reprise his role as Duke.
Who else from the cast will return, and without a writer's strike in the way, how different will this sequel turn out? |

A press release has been issued for Hasbro & Discovery's joint venture, The HUB, officially confirming that GI Joe A Real American Hero, the classic 80's GI Joe cartoon by Sunbow, will be airing in fall!
“G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero” In this popular animated series, viewers are reintroduced to the G.I. Saga, featuring the fearless G.I. Joe team working to combat Cobra, an evil organization bent on world domination. Around the world, battling on land, sea and air whenever there is trouble, G.I. Joe is there. Produced by Marvel Productions and Sunbow Productions. The Transformers counterpart, also by Sunbow & Marvel(and even with some of the same voice actors), will also air on The HUB. |

While his Renegades work is currently under NDA(Non Disclosure Agreement), his previous work gives us a hint at what to expect. We've mirrored just a select few of his images to give you an idea of what he is capable of. In the very few images of Renegades available, we can already see his influence come into play. Renegades is not his 1st experience with GI Joe, as he illustrated various G.I. Joe covers(Dreadnoks; GI Joe America's Elite) for Devils Due Publishing(DDP). Hasbro says that G.I. Joe Renegades will air on 10/10/2010 |

For those of you who cry "HOW COME HASBRO NEVER MAKES SOME OF THE COOL DESIGNS FROM THE COMICS OH MY GOD WHY WHY WHY", Xovergen has come to the rescue with their Supreme Tactical Commander Grand Patriot transforming figure! Not only is this design from a comic, but it's an unused one at that! We've reported on this figure before actually, but Xovergen released images of the prototype recently; clear images of the Rolling Thunder vehicle mode and a blurry image of the robot mode. Don Figueroa is known more for his work on Transformers, but while Devils Due Press had the GI Joe comic license, Don did contribute some GI Joe designs for GI Joe VS Transformers crossovers comics. Some, like the Rolling Thunder Optimus Prime and Dominator Megatron, were never used but still wowed the fandom nonetheless. Information on Xovergen's upcoming Supreme Tactical Commander Grand Patriot figure based on Don Figueroa's unused Rolling Thunder Optimus Prime design which was made for GI Joe VS Transformers Crossover comics is sparse at the moment but the figure may see release at the end of the year. |

What's in store? A new series! Here's what Roshan had to say: I had to pass out out for a couple of hours so I missed the Hama and Zartan panels, but I got to make the Bellamo presentation and he let everyone know that he will be scripting the new GI Joe Special Missions comic for IDW. The best news of it was that it will be set in the old continuity, so he has access to all the marvel run characters and the 80's filecard information. So for fans of Classic GI Joe, you've got more goodies coming your way! |

Carlos is receptive to read these pitches, yet there is NO guarantee of this book seeing print whatsoever." |
