I'm a newbie so go easy on me, but I recently scored this locally and I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have no clue where to grade it and I know it's worth some decent money, but I need a price range to list it at or some cool info if anyone knows more about it.. I would greatly appreciate your help forum members. https://imageshack.com/i/pohUeRKOj https://imageshack.com/i/pnqwkDQ3j https://imageshack.com/i/poU1HJhQj

Well, red Bumblebee was produced in 1984 and 1985. The 84 version had an Autobot sticker on the chest and was packaged in vehicle mode. The 85 version had a rub sign on the chest and was packaged in robot mode. The back of your card is copyrighted 1985 and mentions the figure coming with a rub sign. I'm guessing the rub sign just fell off and is stuck somewhere that can't be easily seen. Not sure what to tell you as far as price. Some of the packaged versions on eBay are selling for $800 - $1000 but the packaging looks pretty nice.
You can read up more about G1 Bumblebee figures here: Bumblebee (G1)/toys - Transformers Wiki You could also try Toyark's sister site TFW2005. TFW2005 is dedicated to Transformers so you should have an easier time finding someone who really knows G1 figures over there. |
